Yeah I know how you are feeling. Nearing 32 myself I dread getting older and still looking for someone as I am afraid I'll be that lonely old guy at the end the bar or on dating sites hitting up everyone for love. I thought the movie was good except for the ending as the ending would never happen in real life least not in mine. Whoa. You sound like me. I'm ignored by every guy as well. While I'm not overweight, I'm not a twink either. Being 34 doesn't help matters either. It's all about young / slim these days, if you are neither you're fucked. I might as well turn straight I guess. I haven't had a date in like 6 years. I've tried all the dating sites. Why do I have to find all the shallow guys?

So, I'm not feeling better. I'm starting to think that maybe I was overreacting the entire time, and that this guy might have been a good friend to me had I acted differently. I don't reply to every e-mail within minutes of getting it - no one does - so I feel like I was being really unreasonable to get annoyed at this guy for taking a while to do that. I almost feel like I should write him an apology or something, anything to know why what happened did happen.
Edit: One of my friends had said that he should talk to this guy about it, so I'm thinking of asking him just to do that and see if there's anything I can do to make things better.

He didn't speak to me for a few days, but maybe he didn't want to lead me on and wanted to make sure that he didn't hurt my feelings when he told me that he only wanted to be friends. That doesn't excuse being rude, of course, but at least his intentions would have been good.
As for why he tried to kiss me on Monday, a guy's allowed to change his mind.
