I remember only this one and that other one who said homosexuals wanted to shove their orientation down everyone's throats and referred to transgendered people by "it".

No one ever talks back to me on grindr. for a time i thought it wasn't working then i knew it was ugly mug.

I probably wouldn't take that route looking for friends. Admittedly, I dont use grindr, but isnt it mostly for hooking up for casual encounters.

Speaking of friends, I wish we were all a bit closer to each other geographically, cuz some of you are pretty awesome dudes, and I'd hang out with you all.

You can try getting involved in the local gay scene in Sydney. Not necessarily clubbing, but community activities and organizations. Like a local gay sports team, maybe volunteer for Sydney pride events, or local community center. If you have other interests like acting/art/writing im sure there are local gay clubs specializing in those fields.

The key is to get out there and get involved. Expose yourself to other gay people in a non-dating environment.

I want to thank _Isaac so much for a fantastic heartfelt and thought-out response. Right now I'm not prepared to label myself anything specific, and would rather explore my sexuality at my own pace. I've decided to email my concerns to Chuck, that way I can clearly communicate my thoughts on his behavior without being too confrontational. Thanks again, you rock!

I've got good reason to be angry. But don't worry, I won't be posting in this thread anymore.

I get the impression that this isn't really the place for discussions like mine; it's more like a clubhouse for existing gay/bi GAF-folk, and there's nothing wrong with that.

I dunno, I've seen this thread be pretty open to all sorts of people coming in asking questions. Seems like your initial post just negatively colored everyone's replies.

I don't have shirtless pics. If I do, then yes, I was asking for it. They just want more pics but I know what they mean, especially when they post shirtless photo of themselves.

Holy crap, so i decided to try out Grindr. it's nuts. LOL. Within a few minutes i get all these messages from all these aggressive guys! it's kind of scary...i'm thinking of uninstalling lol.
