You might be, because a lot of people. You'd be surprised how many hetero couples end up pregnant when condoms/etc were well within reach. You're out with a guy, you're super attracted to him. You go back to his place, super tipsy, you're all over each other, steadily crossing bases. Takes a lot of willpower to stop that momentum to put on a condom, which can sometimes be seen as a buzz-kill.

Well, personally I agree (and nice to know, stud), but some people are wired that way. I once hooked up with a guy who went from raging bull to limp noodle in the 20 seconds it took to put the condom on.

I agree on the whole 'putting on a condom doesn't ruin the mood' thing. I've been with a guy in the past who I had to remind to put a condom on because he was getting too into it, but it didn't really cause things to slow down, so to speak. I dunno, I've never really been in a situation where i've been to drunk to think about condoms, but I can understand how it happens.

There's nothing wrong with bareback by itself. It's not bad to watch bareback porn either. It's just porn. The bad thing about bareback is to do it with strangers and a bunch of partners. If you have a boyfriend and you've been together for a long while and you're in a monogamous relationship and you trust him, then go for it and have fun. Just make sure to wait until enough time has passed and there's actual trust there. As for condoms in porn, I prefer if it shows when they put it on. I hate it when it just magically appears. No ofcourse not everyone with a biohazard tatoo is HIV positive, but if some gay guys, who are into the extreme of the fetish/sex scenes will advertise it, kinda like how some gay guys will wear colored hankies to show what theyre into.

Got drinks with a bunch of college friends last night as our first official "night out" in LA. I'm the only gay one of the group, but we met at some cheap bar near WeHo. They all have to work today (I don't start till Monday) so I decide to hit up the WeHo bar scene and see what it's like.

Some notes:

- If you want to hit on me, don't have the second thing out of your mouth be about how you moved here for the amateur porn industry.

More or less how I prefer it, too. The actual sex is an afterthought for me sometimes, because it's everything that (should) come before that turns me on. If it skips from clothed dudes and come hither stares to instant sex, bleah, I'll just shut it off.
