GB Micro, New SP or nothing?

46% Larger Screen on the SP+

SP+ for the win

Not when games look BETTER on a smaller screen. And they DO.

PS. One second note gamers with eyesight deficiencies may wish to go for the SP2. I have no problems whatsoever with the micro. Bless my perfect eye sight.

I thought it only seemed marginally better in person. Maybe I was blown away at how well the scaling worked on the micro. It looked sharper with the same games to me. But it definitely has the better d-pad...and I think that should be a weighted factor.
Bingo. I wasn't even thinking about that until I read your post, but the Micro's d-pad, and buttons in general, look a hell of a lot easier on the fingers (as pathetic as that sounds). Playing my SP gets uncomfortable after a while. Altogether, though, I'll have to try the Micro out for myself before deciding (not to mention getting some money).

My eyesight used to be perfect. Wait until you are 38 like me. :)

It is easier to read text and identify small icons in strategy games and such, on the SP+.

I say stick with the DS.... It plays the GBA games pretty good and then you can always switch over and use the money to buy Castlevania:DoS, Sonic Rush, AW, Mario Kart Online all THIS YEAR.....

The D-Pad and feel of the Mirco is undoubtly better than the SP.
does the dpad have the same problem as the new sp (and ds?), where you can hit opposite directions at the same time because the center thingy is missing? and otherwise how does the dpad feel, like is it clicky or smooth or what?

I definitely, DEFINITELY prefer the D-pad and buttons on the Micro to the SP and DS. It has more "play" or "travel", whatever you want to call it. More like the NES controller than the GBA SP is.
