Gearbox plans to support Revolution(old?)

(Roughly translated)In an interview with GamerCC Randy Pitchford [president of Gearbox] said that he finds Revolution interesting and is pleased to develop for Revolution.
A few years ago he already had a few ideas, which would perfectly fit the Revolution interface.

Sounds good to me :)

Short question: did they also release Brothers in Arms for Gamecube?

Gearbox has developed only shooters in the past as far as I know...

Halo: Combat Evolved (PC)
Brothers In Arms (Xbox, PlayStation 2)
Half-Life: Blue Shift (PC)
Half-Life: Opposing Force
Half-Life (PS2)
Counter-Strike: Condition Zero (PC)

Wait they did do a non-shooter! Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 for the PC!

Did they do the N64 version of THPS3?

Gearbox has become pretty well respected in recent years. From a port-to-PC house to their own real game maker, at least.

Wouldn't be shocked if they were approached by Nintendo to make a showcase FPS for the Revolution. I think this news is pretty significant if that or anything like it was the case.

Hey, if Gearbox is developing for Revolution then that means Revolution can handle the UE3 since Gearbox is going UE3 exclusive for all next gen games.

The actual interview does not say they ARE developing for the Revolution. The company president only mentioned that he think the Revolution is interesting and a platform that could bring some unique ideas he's had to life.

Yea, I was just going to say that.
GameSpot is reporting the exlusive use of UR3 engine for all next-gen development.

So, maybe that says something to the power beneath the hood of the Rev....?
