This. people need to stop with these absurd comments and just realize crap happens some times. u cant always magically predict exactly how the server needs to be pre adjusted for an unknown number of people who are going to slam the site from E3 hype. i was just playing mcc and titan fall and KI and they were all working fine lol

And the codes aren't even available to everyone! I can't imagine they sent out hundreds of thousands of code to folks to crash the damn system.

You really think they arent trying? you think they just toss up a number then twiddle their thumbs when this happens? So irrational to just throw things like that out there. I guess im just too optimistic lol. I have a relative working in the industry and have seen how much of a crapstorm that can show up out of no where with this server nonsense.
To just say "its happened x number of times there should be some guaranteed counter against it" is nonsense. do you know how many "THINGS" have happened in all walks off life that still happen despite them happening in a bad way already? yet we still dont have guaranteed counters or fixes for them?
Tech isnt that cut & dry or easy. Its understandable to be pissed but some of the things people say in response to this stuff is childish. I severely doubt MS simply doesnt care and doesnt try to prepare for this stuf. theres just alot of variables to account for.
Again im probably just too optimistic lol. or i just have alot more things to do which is why the wait for this isnt burning as hard for me as it is with others.

They randomly invited a ton of people earlier today, presumably based on the preview program, and had full control over that.
They also have full control over how many more codes they issue ergo this entirely Microsoft's fault with no question. As a result of incompetence they've just pissed a lot of people off and wasted people's time.
Worst of all, if they can't be trusted to get something like this right then how can they be trusted with people's money when the game is released? Especially after the mess that was Halo last year.
