A few weeks back I asked if I should unbox my Matty Collector Voltron Lions I had, finally got around it the other week and my god the thing is massive, heres a rubbish picture of it with the other Voltrons I have atm
Its like twice the height of the old Panosh Place Lion Voltron, I can't get over how big it is. Sucky thing is I have no where to store it, won't fit on any of my shelves :/
Also not sure if there are any Zoids fans in here, but got around to putting my Shadow Fox kit together the other night.
I really hope Kotobukiya decide to bring out some more flying Zoids in the range, I'd be really keen on a Raynos kit one of these days. Next project will be a Liger Zero Schnider and a Saber Tiger I have on the way from Hobby Search. Might try and get my hands on a Gun Sniper and maybe an Iron Kong after those.

Hobby Search, I've seen them on HLJ, I'm sure there are other place to get them. And yeah can be abit pricey, I think my Dark Horn has been the most expensive but the Iron Kong is going to cost me abit if I get one. Heres the full set of what I've gotten so far.
Thinking of pre-ordering but I checked the Play Arts figure you mentioned on Amiami and one of the pictures they have there for the Play Arts figure is the exact one they are using on the site above (and another site I found) for the Revoltech figure. So not sure if the figure will actually look like that.

Very nice! I've had my eyes on Iron Kong for a bit. It's a toss between Zoids and Five Star Stories for me...Both have really sweet looking models.
E: How is the pricing on Hobby Search compared to other shops like HLJ and AmiAmi for kits? Any clue?

I've been told by a friend that HLJ is cheaper then Hobby Search and comparing the prices it does look like HLJ is a few hundred Yen cheaper and even more for AmiAmi, see the below links for various prices on the same Saber Tiger kit

You can also try eBay which will be good for the Zoid kits that aren't in stock as well.

Quick check their eBay prices XD, that is if you don't plan on keeping them =PHuh, the shit you find while packing for a move. I don't collect figures but just found these buried in a storage closet in my apartment (not my pics):

They costed $49 USD a pack at release apparently, looks like it's gone up to around $90 based on amazon marketplace.

Just got into the figure collecting scene earlier this year when I took the plunge and bought a Figma King Kazuma and Love Machine. Since then I've purchased Figma Link and Samus, Sentinel's Red Canti from FLCL (I'd love to get the blue version but discovered it too late for retail prices, and the markup now is nuts), and the new D-Arts Mega Man with Rush and Metal. I have preorders in at AmiAmi for Pit/Pittoo, and D-Arts Mewtwo and Charizard.
I feel fortunate that there aren't more figures out there right now really vying for my attention as the urge to buy the ones I like has been irresistable so far.

You can order the NECA Django line on amazon. Seller is NECA though, not amazon. So no prime shipping. They are buring up the charts, especially Django. All figs are 29.99 except Django who is selling for around 45 :/

I've seen enough art of this version of Yosuke that I would not feel comfortable having that figure around me.

Do you own any other Hot Toy figures? I remember when I got my first one it was a Classic Predator and I guess I built unrealistic expectations for him in my head that when I got him I was a little underwhelmed. That quickly went away though after taking time to appreciate him an take pictures of it and stuff and now he feels very worth the money. Also recently got myself Rises Batman and he feels worth every penny. I think Hulk is going to be an amazing figure personally and a very hot seller and you should have no problem selling him if you end up not liking him
i own over 35+ and every single one is 5 stars. The face sculpts are always amazing and the accessories (If there are any) are also awesome. I've never been disappointed. The only figure's face they never got right was probably Sheva from RE5.
And ohthegore is right. HTs are quite resellable even if loose.

The only issue I have is the pricing which seems to go up every few months.
The build is good but once in a while you get some faults. Luckily sideshow will replace parts. Great customer service.
I wanted the full avenger set but it is kind of steep lol.
And resellable point is also something you can fall back on if you have buyers remorse.
Just do it man, I've get them all on pre-order and you know you will too. It's just money, worry about it later
There's only 5 characters that have figmas. Chie, Yukiko, Aegis, Metis, and Labrys. Other than small trading figures for Persona 4, no company has come even close to making the full cast for either game.

Ha, yes I can see how it happens. I have a fairly limited field of vision for figures though. With an impressionable 7-year-old at home anything too grotesque, overtly violent, or scantily clad doesn't make the cut, as much as I might dig some of those figures. So it's mostly video game characters and cool robots for me.
I am looking for some more bad guys for my collection though, so far all I have is Love Machine. He's awesome but all by himself he doesn't really stack up against the rest of the crew I've assembled.

It really baffles me that they didn't try to make Figma of Yu or Yosuke. Like I understand the waifu factor for selling the ladies is strong but how can you not even make the main character of the series..?
