Are there plans to do anymore than the 12 episodes that they've already done? If not, does the manga continue the story any further? Admittedly, the series hits home quite a bit for my friends and I, so there's a lot to identify with the series and I'd hope it wouldn't end so soon.

I'm aware of the Kujibiki Unbalance OAV, but that's about it.

Last I heard, the anime surpassed expectations so there's been talks of a second season. The manga of course progresses a lot further in the storyline.

And yes, I too identified with the characters in there and was disappointed when they ended it so abruptly.

Nope still going. A quick google check reveals volume 5 came out in December (in japan).

Cool, good to know it keeps going.

If the anime series doesn't continue, at least I can follow the manga through Del Ray's domestic releases or something.
