Nice timing, I finally ran into issues with artifact space recently. I have too many locked potentially good artifacts and had to start going through them. Made it a quarter of the way through my artifact list before giving up.

The interlude is very short and nothing of note happens so you can do it anytime. I think it actually adds an icon to your scroll.Damn I'm finishing up some of the limited time rewards quest things since we only have a bit of time left on them. The one area at the end of the "buddy" quest was pretty cool. Natlan has had some really great world quest locations, but I feel the story isn't as strong as other nations' world quests (the unvoiced ones). Everything here mostly points back to Xbalanque and the Pyro Sovereign Dragon and their history with each other. I'm only halfway though, I have to do the 2 new areas to see the rest of it, presumably. Maybe it gets more interesting. I've been holding off doing the current archon quest interlude with the new patch until I finish out the scroll with the little icons in it, (related to the ancient name), though I'm not sure if it matters or not. I just read the part where the quest says "go to the colosseum to start forging your ancient name and I don't want to go until I have all of the scroll slots filled in case it's story relevant later and those without all the slots get a lesser ending or something.
Ok thanks for that, in a game like Genshin with no take-backs, I wanted to make sure. I didn't lock myself out of the scroll stuff by moving forward without having done all of the world quests.
Alternatively I wish artifact dismantling and quick review were a thing way back from the early days of Genshin. Being able to turn trash artifacts into the xp potions would have been huge several versions ago. My artifact number went up and up, and now it's just an absolute chore to sit there and review every one. I have started reviewing them when they drop and locking the potentially decent ones though. That still won't matter when I need to sit there and comb numbers for hours to clean the rest.
My guesses:Fairly interesting stream today. The rumors were true and Mavuika and Citlali will run at the same time. No mention of this banner running longer than normal. Second half will have Arle and Clorinde along with Lan Yan. No cons for me unfortunately.
They're also bringing back the Chronicled Wish banner for Liyue. They've changed the rules so Shenhe can be on it, and it includes Ganyu, Childe, Xiao and Baizhu too.

So there's some mysteries here. I assume the one next to Iansan is the guy from Mondstadt that was leaked/rumored a while ago. I think his name was that of a flower. Then there's the Natlan vet, we know about him. But after that? Hard to say. Is that Varesa from Iansan's tribe? Kinda looks like Skirk to me... Is the fifth character the Inazuman girl? The cow girl has potential, maybe she's Varesa? That final character I would speculate to be from Snezhnaya.
So I'm pretty excited for all that. There was a part during the stream where it almost seemed like they were giving away a free Liyue 5-star, but no such luck. We're getting 20 wishes like normal and the 4-star selector.
Looking a bit more closely, I think she's supposed to be a chef. That's a cook's knife she's holding and the hat looks like one of those stereotypical chef's hats. They probably wouldn't tease Snezh this early, so I assume Fontaine or Mondstadt.

Yeah I'd be pissed too if I was low on resources. Seems especially rude to Asian players who may have wanted to use New Year's money on those characters.
Disappointing, but probably true. What a shame. A new element could really shake up the game again like it did for Dendro, and she'd be the perfect time to introduce it.

It's just too much for one patch. When was the last time they introduced 2 new 5*s at the same time in the same banner duration? And this is when they bring back chronicled wish too, when people are already going to be dumping their savings. It just seems hateful towards the playerbase.
