The trailer is a bit shite but I like catching up on Geoff's events afterwards. He's just a nerdy dude that gets excited about showing games and actually knows the industry, I don't really understand the hate for him. Not all of the trailers are bangers but I usually find something of interest and you can always skip the boring bits. I think he's also getting better at trimming the fat and tightening up the run time. I do however miss the once a year mega bash of E3 when everyone just shows up and there's a big info dump over a few days.

I didn't watch them last year, and didn't miss much, you can just read through the announcements quickly at the end.
This show is usually drawn out, has a lot of lame announcements, lame presentations, lots of circle jerking, I think it's more meant for Jeff's ego than for actual gamers.
