During our reporter Oversights' interview with the producers of Land of the Dead, Peter Grunwald & Bernie Goldmann, it was revealed that this could be the beginning of a new Dead trilogy!

"The original conceit for this script was that it would start, if successful, a new cycle of George Romero Zombie films. We talked about that even before the script was written. Not in the way that years pass between Night, Dawn and Day, but in the sense that this film establishes a new set of characters, slightly different world, you can go from chapter to chapter, from Land to a new one and a new one, and taken as a whole, the new films, would be one big story. Obviously our hope is that, that will happen."

Isn't there an Austrailian zombie movie coming out? Or at least it looked australian. I saw a trailer for it awhile ago and it looked pretty damn good, reminded me of 28 days later. Anyways, yea Romero, Land of the Dead, kick ass. More zombies that don't involve Uwe Boll is great.

Undead is horrible. Don't even bother. It looks WAY cooler in the trailers. The movie itself is REALLY lame, and it doesnt help that they added this cheap as fuck blue (or was it red?) filter to the whole filter to give it this apocalypse-type look. The crazy farmer guy tries just too much and sounds so terribly lame, the humor is crap, and the effects are meh. We turned it off 30-40 minutes in. it was just THAT bad. This is one of the lamest zombie movie ever.

But it's interesting to know that the movie itself is a demo for two brothers who edited and created the special effects of the whole movie on a single laptop that would keep crashing when it overheated. There's a lot of interesting backstory about how the movie was made, just look it up online.
