So does it come with that girl or what?

Is that what Agent Icebeezy got? Oh, nm, it's due to

Omega/Dell Bundle Accessories:
- Dell 42-Inch Plasma TV

A Plasma TV is an "accessory" of an xbox 360? :lol

"So Jimmy, did you put that down payment on the new car?"

"Nah, I went with Gamestop's $4500 X360 bundle..."

What is the point of these packages if they offer no discount. $4500 is exactly what all that would cost seperately at retail.

The point is to make the $399 core system seem like a really good deal.

I'm surprised Gamestop doesn't sell a bundle where you can buy 1 of everything they sell in the entire store across every single system.

I honestly found myself triple checking the url to make sure this was real and not just a joke.

I can understand bundling the TV with the sytem as some sort of crazy-ass but borderline understandable deal.

But 20 games? WTF?

i saw one of those big dell tvs in the local gamestop. pretty nice. i give it a month before some dyslexic preteen loiterer puts his head through it.

Guaranteed to get these games on launch day. I doubt this is for personal use, more likely for Gaming Centers and that type of thing.

The only way you'll sell a console with that many games...

"The man, who has not yet been named, was selling modified Xbox consoles, fitted with a 200GB hard drive and 80 pre-installed games, via his website for ÂŁ380."

Some people will be pissed when some of those titles slide to next year as well.

Preorder chump: So I'm only getting like half of the games I preordered?
Gamestop: Yeah, but they'll ship when they ship.
Preorder chump: Dang.

what's with penny arcade and the olive garden? i swear it's come up in three or four of their comics.

Well, assuming that this is just the Omega Bundle with the TV (what it looks like) they are selling you the TV at retail price.

Assuming the games are 60 bucks each, and the Xbox Live card is 70 bucks, the total retail price comes to 1912.00 Which means they are selling you the prodcut replacement plan for 80 bucks... now, if the thing comes with 3 battery packs instead of 1 that makes the retail price 1936 + the TV at 2500 bucks.

So, it would be CHEAPER to get all of this on its own. :lol :lol :lol

Oh, and dont forget shipping, I bought their Silver bundle and paid about 30 bucks for shipping.

Edit: Double checked my math, its right.

Someone calculate if this actually leads to a deal in any form.

System $400
20 Games ($50 each) $1,000
Network Adapter $100
Play and Charge Kit $20
Battery Pack $12
Memory Unit $40
Faceplate $20
Xbox Live 12-month Card $50
3 Wireless Controllers $150
Dell 42" HD Plasma TV $3,000
Total Cost $4,792

Used Gamestop prices and assumed $50/game and this Dell TV

Bundle Savings: $292, or 6.1%. What a deal! (all figures rounded to nearest dollar)

Drill down, they're charging $60 for games.
