I'm trying to decide the qualitative difference between this and real-time footage. Someone please help me out. Everything just seem so much cleaner and the animations is top notch. Can we get there this gen?

Nice resolution, if you look carefully you can still see a bit of aliasing. Some nice FMV though.

The models look like the in-game models from the first video shown. The developers mentioned that there would be no cutscenes in the game, so aside from some fancy angles and the airplane scenes, gameplay should look similar.

the models might be in-game models, but the motion/movement and particle effects are pre-rendered CG. so this is not a totally realtime intro. parts of it have to be CG.
