Ghost Recon 3 Xbox 360 : 10min video

From yesterday Ubisoft show in Paris. I'm very dissapointed with that game anyway, especially for the extremely low framerate (how could they do this on Xbox 360 :/)... however, the graphics are great.

that picture is awesome!

i'm of the mindset that it looked great at x05. just like the e3 build, but minus some effects. its been pushed back into 2006 now IIRC, i'm sure when all is said and done, it will look great and more importantly, be very fun.

did you not see teh video? it looked like shit in terms of graphics but fun otherwise.

i havent seen this (and cant, i'm at school and cant install the proper codec), but i have seen other clips, and it looked the same, just minus the awesome lighting and grain... no big deal
 
Thank god this game was delayed....

I was one of the guys pimping this game (as well as perfect dark zero) and seeing how much PDZ improved, I am crossing my fingers for GRAW to do the same......

It has two things going for it, currently:

1-Blim said the X05 build (which is probably the same as the one in this vid) was a very early version that was missing some graphic features of the newer builds.....Ubi did this because the newer builds are buggy and given a choice between an ugly, but stable version (supposedly the very first playable build) and a prettied-up version that crashes, they went with the stable version......Bizzare has done the same before with PGR3 (Pretty but slow build and a fast, but featureless build) so *hopefully* GRAW will receive a PDZ-esque transformation when it arrives in 2006 *crosses fingers*


2-Time. GRAW has been delayed until early 2006, which will give Ubi access to at least 5 months of Final X360 devkit time.....this should really help....

yup. the only thing i worry about is the net code and UI, which has always been REALLY BAD in the ghost recon series.

The UI I could see, but I always had really good connections playing online XBL with GR2 and SS. I assume the UI is going to be pretty slick as MS has done a lot of the work on that end for them.

The game won't be realy upgraded in terms of graphics (don't know why...), only new features will be added. The real problem is that the game needs too much processing power and staff like that because of its very big levels and details.
