I take it you guys prefer the HD Quality movie just being at a full 720p @ 60fps.

For me its always been, in my head I think I totally love games like this, and then I buy them and realize, holy shit this gameplay isn't for me. Totally nothing against any previous Ghost Recons -- they always seemed really well made. Just not for me.

It never fails, I still buy them though. But not this time! I really hope I like it this time though.

Exactly the same for me. After reading rave after rave, I bought Ghost Recon 2 for the Xbox, and I just could not get into it. It may not have actually been the case, but it felt like enemies were constantly spawning behind me and around me. I also thought that taking down the enemies lacked any real feeling of satisfaction - no sense of bullets hitting a body; no feeling for weight or mass. Aside from that, I guess I could see the quality and general appeal, but the gameplay was, as you said, "just not for me".

Despite all of that, GRAW is looking too cool to pass up. I guess if I'm disappointed in the gameplay again I've got no one to blame but myself.

eventually? :/
We are doing a final version of the video with all the color correction and other stuff, hopefully Ubisoft will be satisfied with this one. I'm not too hopeful.
Anyway, no one will care anymore.

This game is so pretty...I can't wait to see how many of my friends are playing this game compared to Burnout Revenge.

WHAT!?!?!?! 60FPS!?!?!?! 360 is a fucking BEAAAAAAST
It's not 60 fps, it's just that the gamespot video is the full video stream without any tampering, so every frame is doubled.

:( those vids are full of tearing :( please tell me they will fix it up, I just can't stand that unstable image. I want this game so bad but the tearing is awful.

i read somewhere that a demo will be available very soon on the marketplace.
Maybe teamxbox was the source, i don't remember.

Game looks great. The nitpicker in me does notice the slightly blurry textures on some of the surfaces though, as well as some slightly blocky trees. Given however, that the scope of the scenery is approximately twice of what I would have anticipated even possible at this detail level, I think I'm in a forgiving mood. Plus I get the feeling that all the *sigh* HDR lighting and effects will do much to mask the minor deficiencies pretty well.

I can't fucking wait till my copy shows..

Next Gen started with Call Of Duty 2, IMO. This looks even better though. I need a release date though so I can take a week off work :D

Gotta pay to watch the HD clips on Gamespot :(
Is there any FREE HD footage yet?
It seems like publishers don't like the good quality footage of their games to be freely available. Nothing new.

This thread was just worth it for Blim's sarcasm/anger :lol I feel for you man..
I wish it was sarcasm, but most of the time only big american websites will get 720p versions of the trailers for example, or even anything more than 320x240 versions.
I just don't get why the publishers feel so secretive with the high resolution medias. I understand why they would not want to give them directly to the public, bandwidth being still expansive, but when I ask about getting these versions to host on xboxyde they tell me they can't allow me to have them. No reasons given.

Wouldnt better quality vids make for better advertising, equaling in even more money?

I think more $35 a year from each user, and the user still see advertising a better deal for them.

The 360 has come along nicely in the first year alone.
