Yes but I'm a hypocrite and I like Drew for exactly that reason. He's a foil to all the debauchery that goes on. I prefer normalcy to be the exception and not the... norm. One regular dude is enough, yeah?
Drew is the best!
I'm starting to think he's been activated and we're all going to reap the whirlwind.
Exactly.
We can only hope,I'm starting to think he's been activated and we're all going to reap the whirlwind.
He mentioned it at Vinny's goodbye stream.
I reckon Brad would totally be into ATLA/Korra if someone showed him what it actually was
you just described Drew on every bombcast
Korra is like bad anime though, and he already hates anime as much as Jeff!
I don't think I've seen this UPF. Link?
I don't know if Korra is weird enough to be interesting though. lolDude if a Finnish folk song with Hachune Miku can hook brad, Korra will blow his mind

christ I need to upload some better avatar gifs to the internet, everything is tumblr gif, tumblr gif, tumblr gif
It's only $3, but then again it's only 27 pages. That seems kinda...sparse.

I like Korra.
Look at me, for I have identified myself as a second-class internet citizen!
Don't know synopsis sounds pretty good:

Wait, I haven't watched ATLA, so is that synopsis true?
I like Korra.

Alright, that is hilarious then.in the most general terms, it's not inaccurate
It is true, but leaves out extremely important plot points and elements and characters which completely changes the entire show enough that the comparisons completely don't match up in practice. If nothing else, the fact that the "A" character fights for himself instead of having his pets fight for him really changes everything. (though I, too, honestly have no memory what that "a" character's name is)
Nah, they played a bit on UPF
Ah, there you go. So I'm not crazy.
I mean, even if you think about staff reaction to it. With Leigh, it was all awkward glances at each other and "<>." They...didn't really bat an eye at shirtless Greg Miller who proceeded to knock over a big ol' pyramid of beer cans just because.
For the record, I don't have a problem with how Greg acted, really. That's what after-hours E3 is about. But if you look at the difference in how the community and staff reacted to the two situations, it's pretty striking.
Maybe because it's just empty cans being knocked over vs. an annoying drunk guest screaming over everyone? If you watch it again, you might find that the entire scene was incredibly awkward. I don't know much about Greg, but that entire 20 seconds or so made him look like a huge asshole. No one really laughed (aside from himself) apart from maybe some awkward snickers. Then they immediately went into changing the subject.

What a dick, dude. Can't believe the community had a positive reaction to that.
Kinda, but not really. Aang never really fights the "elemental masters" except for the emperor of the Fire Nation. Also, the Fire Nation doesn't so much want to capture Aang as they want to kill him.Wait, I haven't watched ATLA, so is that synopsis true?
lol its like that episode of curb your enthusiasm

I'm actually kinda curious about wrestling. I've never actually watched it, and the GB guys are fanatics so there must be something awesome about it. Any recommendations on where to start to see if i like it?

It's a bit of a stretch to compare it that directly to Pokemon, but it really is pretty much a big pile of shounen anime / kid show tropes.
And execution counts for a lot.
Am I losing my mind? I swear I already watched the upcoming Sniper Elite III quick look a few days ago. Did they accidentally post it pre-embargo or something?
Maybe I drink too much.
Exactly. Avatar doesn't really do much innovation, but it's really well put together. Lots of solid character development and lots of fantastic action sequences. Even the humor is mostly on point.
