The PS1 games don't hold up at all. Also Jeff is so fucking wrong about the PSP games. They are actually the best in the whole series. You could still have fun with those today.

If someone modded it so it used the dual analogue stick support it would be pretty damn awesome. Graphics where fine. I was using PSXe emulator with my own disc.

Well the controls of course were not ideal because of the missing second analog stick but they are still a hell of a lot better than in the PSone games.

In Syphon Filter 2 you kill the final boss by pushing him into a tail rotor with a fully automatic shotgun, so I don't care what Jeff says, the sequels were pretty fucking great.

This is my first exposure to vibribbon ever

it looks fucking amazing. You fuckers! No wonder everyone was so angry at the conference when that didn't go anywhere!

The hype is real, that game is one of my absolute favourites of all time.

edit: Also, goddamn that video game store in NYC looks amazing. I'm going to NYC in the summer, need to spend some money there when I do! I also love the idea of them making some more videos with that dude from the store (Dan?) if he wants to do it. Repair videos would be awesome. That dude knows his video games!

I wonder if Vinny was intentionally going for a leon look at the start.

Dear Diary: What is Castlevania?

Robyn is the Sara of GB East, we need more Robyn!

2 was good, it also had the multiplayer mode, which was bad shit insane. 3 was kinda crappy though, terrible mission design.

I liked 2 better than 1. I remember 3 really struggling on the hardware though.

That East Coast video is really great. I would renew my subscription, wasn't planning on it, if they focused on video content like that. I love the Giantbomb guys but Twitch pretty much offers what they are doing for free.

Miiverse was plenty active before stamps were introduced (with SM3DW, I think), so they weren't needed, at all.

I think they're really, really charming in theory but just don't work out so well in practice.

Edit: Actually, if there was an option to filter out posts using stamps, that'd be ideal and the best of both worlds. As I said, I find them very charming myself.

Sorry if this has been asked, but what are Giant Bomb doing in NYC, what do they need a studio for?

Vinny moved back to be near family and Alex was already there so they are setting up a separate studio for the two of them to produce separate content.

With Vinny and Alex being there permanently, they want a studio space to produce content.

I mean, Brad and Jeff could work from home in San Fran as well, but they're not.

They should just turn Jeff's home into the GB SF Office.

He already has a library of like every game and console ever released, they can set up the studio in the living room and Brad and Drew can crash in Jeff's roommates room because he's never there anyways.

Should work pretty well until Patrick's back in town and decides to light off a rocket in the house

There are still plenty of drawings and people use the stamps in fun ways as well.

Some of the best miiverse posts I've seen are people using stamps in....compromising positions.

eh.

i really liked seeing some of the drawings to tbh.

in other news GBNY should be interesting, especially with these new people who are popping up (hopefully they get that VideogamesNewYork guy for a feature)
