Having never played the early Mario Parties, I'm surprised they actually had a stage where the star stayed put. That's probably my main gripe with the later games, where the star kept moving and it was hard to maneuver around the board. since most of the fun comes from the mini-games anyway, piling on weird mechanics to the board just makes it frustrating.

During the Mario Party stream, when he was doing his sarcastic thank yous whenever someone accidentally helped him out, it reminded me a lot of Norm Macdonald. I mentioned here when I was watching it.

I think it just suffers from repetition, here is Drew playing some flying game where not much happens, here is Jeff with his old system/old game, here is (or was) Patrick with his weird indie title etc.
Some of my favorite GB content is when they focus on one thing, like Brad and Jeff playing Mortal Kombat games on the couch years ago, you learned things but also had a good laugh plus saw some good matches between the two. It never felt like they were fishing for "funny moment", it was to educate people on the series if they were unfamiliar with it. And it just happens that MK3 has to load Shang Tsung's transformations and that was funny, or that stupid video of that late 90s band that made a video for MK Deadly Alliance
UP feels like playing shitty games/games with funny rag doll in hopes that something funny happens and everyone laughs.

I really hope GB do a Gamescom live stream like last year. After E3 I'm not sure I'd want to watch any press conference without Jeff dropping truth bombs in the background.
Unfortunately the Microsoft conference is starting at 05:00 AM PST and 08:00 AM EDT, so unless GB East decides to get up early and do something, a stream of that seems unlikely..

After watching that Super Replay (aka Endurance Run) of MK Shaolin Monks co-op he did before he left Game Informer, he just sounds like an old man to me. There were a bunch of times during those videos where he was trying to "WOO" like Ric Flair and he couldn't do it and ended up sounding super raspy. The other guys started making fun of his Woos even.
