The IGN guys, the Giant Bomb guys, Dan, and Jason tell everybody on Twitter to go watch a livestream on IGN.

Cut to Dan, Jason, Andy McNamara, and Greg Miller sitting on a couch. Dan and Jason have an announcement to make. They beat the shit out of Andy, tear off their Game Informer shirts to reveal IGN logos. Greg, Dan, and Jason excitedly celebrate their newly formed alliance. BUT WAIT - WHO'S THAT WEARING A LUCHADEER MASK? Luchadeer punches Greg Miller in the face knocking him unconscious. The mask is yanked off to reveal JEFF GERSTMANN! The crowd goes wild. Dan and Jason rip off the IGN shirts, to reveal GIANT BOMB SHIRTS! Brad and Drew run onto the set as the applause grows louder. Fade to black.

I'd be willing to put down money that they'll never do a Persona 5 ER.

I think they'd be more likely to do any other game in existence before they'd do Persona 5.

I'm on the edge about that. I'm 100% certain they don't want to do it or any ER but I can already imagine the whine if they don't.

I assume everyone is aware that Ryckert is a huge Yoshi's Island fan? He did a lengthy Super Replay on it. Oh the fireworks that will ensue....

I think Jeff will be able to ignore some people whining about them not doing a Persona 5 ER.

True that. We'll see how things go forward. For now there has been some seriously dry spots in the past two years but with all the new people and ease of management for Jeff they just might get things going so smoothly that people could live without ER.

However I'll just throw this out there that as long as we can dream I think an ER would be perfect for the new guys. Have Jeff and Dan play some stupid fucking JRPG and Dan would go down in history.

Brad already lives by perceived slights. Maybe he'll just ignore someone that directly antagonises him.

Or maybe he'll finally retaliate. Giant Bomb Season 2 : Brad Fights Back.

Yeah that's true. Lately Brad doesn't shy away from saying "fuck this" and retaliate. I used to dislike Brad but he grew on me. Don't pick on Brad! Or Rorie!

I don't mind Dan's goofiness, the guy is funny. It's just his wrestling heel stuff I dislike. Takes it too far!

Don't get me wrong, I'd love an ER. Dan was the main editor behind the Super Replays over at GI, while Jason produced those when he was at GI. TAKE THAT AS YOU WILL!

I'll take that as basically a confirmation of a Persona 5 Endurance Run. I'll see you in a bout a year for a refund if it ain't true.

Only problem is that ERs are 3-man shows. 2 to commentate and play, and one to run the equipment.

The P4 endurance run brought quite a few new people to the site and their podcasts, yet they don't want the hassle of doing another endurance run yet seem to always imply they could do with a few more subs. Seems counter productive at times but hey, I guess it can't matter that much.

If the Atlus Trolling idea doesn't happen, this kinda meta-rasslin' thing should!

People need to stop asking for an Endurance Run.

Its too much to ask the guys to sit down and play a game for an hour a day with their schedule.

Let it rest.

Wouldn't that be funny if the soda machine was a prank? Like someone would alter the temperature only when Rorie was around and then set in back correctly.

I'd like to think the culprit is just altering the numbers on the display and it's all in his head that the soda is warmer.

I wouldn't put it past Jeff. I mean, what do they talk about in all those meetings he's always in? I think they pretty much just sit around and find ways to troll Rorie.

"Hey guys, you should turn down the ones in accounting EVEN COLDER. This is giving us some great content."

What actual schedule? Every time they are defended they are never any actual reason beyond they are too busy to provide content for their video game site.

I wonder how other sites do it sometimes.

They should get Ed Boon in the office and do a retrospective sort of show like they did with Dave Lang and Brad Muir. Would be fantastic.

I suspect that the reason that they haven't done one is that Jeff doesn't want GB to just become that site that does playthroughs of games. If it costs them some subscribers and viewers, that's a price he's willing to pay to keep the site being what he wants it to be.

Are they going to do a livestream today to welcome the new guiz?

No.
