On topic, maybe you should get to class earlier? I don't know how it is at your university but at mine usually people will be standing outside in the hallway waiting for the previous class to finish up. If you are already comfortable striking up conversations, maybe that would be a good opportunity to try to talk to her. I talk to people all the time that way. Granted it is mostly small talk about assignments, the class, etc but still, it could get the ball rolling.
 
If the OP knows that this girl wears black shorts, but she doesn't wear them in lab, that means he's been making note of her appearance outside of lab before this...
 
These threads. Some of these advice threads have to be jokes. I don't care how social awkward you are, you do know the next step is to talk to the girl.

I don't buy that. Has he ever even tried? It seems pretty clear he hasn't. Newsflash: Girls are not going to approach awkward guys. You have to do it. It gets easier every time. You see nerds with girls all the time. Hot girls. But they weren't asked out by the girls. A dweeb who is 1/20 is getting way more poon tang than the guy who is 0/0.

Do you honestly believe that someone who is "already comfortable striking up conversations" would be the type of person who would create a thread like this?
 
Oh gosh, first I was reading the thread thinking of how to reply. Then Sunhi's gif popped up and I lost my train of thought. Laughing at the monitor over here lol.
 
To be honest, when I saw Sunhi's name come up I thought "...he didn't really make a gif out of Heavy's old post did he? Shit would be gross."

I was pleasantly surprised.
 
There are some truly pathetic people here on Gaf. I love it. Every now and then makes me realize how good I got it.
