So uh, going by this thread, I made the right choice in not watching the show this season. Season 1 was so good, then season 2 was abysmal during the second half. I watched the season 3 premiere and it was the same old shit. Looks like I bailed at the right time.
At first I thought it was dumb but then got the message that everyone is different in how they react to situations in their lives. His was something that you might not relate to; but it's still a valid feeling, disappointing a parent, shame and regret. So the point is that lots of things in your life may make you depressed, but suicide is not the answer.
Karofsky + Kurt foreva! I don't care, still waiting for them to get together.

Also, count me in with the group that laughed at that ending and pretty much saw it coming as soon as she was seen in a car driving. Shit was just going too well for her.
Songs were decent. The make-up with Sebastian was so rushed and awful, but I guess they have to cultivate him into a likeable regular for Season 4 real fast.
Why was Kurt made up to actually look like a porcelain doll in the hospital scene? He was as white as a sheet.
When does this start up again?
Also, as much as S3 went off the rails in many ways, I feel S2 was the far worse offender.
It's sort of hard not to take seriously at times when it tries to be serious and comes as completely ridiculous.
Also, I have listened to a few songs here and there from this season, and perhaps it's a side-effect of not watching the show, but I found them all to be mediocre or just outright bad. Case in point, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" was so bad compared to the original. And I used to like Naya Rivera's songs on the show.
10000% agree with the bolded. Smash's musical sequences are infinitely better than what Glee's come up with, it's everything else that's the problem.
Also, just going to say it: anybody who gave Rihanna shit for getting back with Chris Brown, I don't want to see you in this thread advocating Kurt and Karofsky. It's the same fucking thing. In real life, gay guys don't date their bashers. They just don't.

I don't care if Kurt+Karofsky get together or not, but it's not really the same thing. Compare Karofsky's attitude after the incident with Chris Brown's. Completely different.
I loved the episode, and it valids the point that the Karofsky's / Kurt story arc is the only one that has some continuity and logic to it. (and that I'm hopelessly in love with Max Adler)
If I didn't know better, I could almost believe they wrote all of this back in season 2 and it was planned all along to make him transfer schools and get off the screen for a while, to make his return surprising, and the story stronger.
I don't really want Dave and Kurt together, friends would be ok at this point and logical, but their story is so much more interesting and touching than Blaine's and Kurt.
The end cliffhanger makes me curious about what's next for her... Read some spoilers about it :
there is a picture of Quinn in a wheelchair floating on the internet, so it seems she won't join the cheerios after all... Not sure it's true, but it would be ironic considering she was happy about it.
Just hope we'll see Karofsky again before the end of the season, and that he'll be in season 4 as well. I would have loved to see this type of (bearish) gay guy pictured in a TV show when I was a kid, or any positive gay role-model for instance...
insincere 180 by wardbler douche. The car crash reminded me so much of alias' car crash except this one was SO poorly done that there was no shock value.

Not true. We don't know what Chris Brown's attitude is really like. Sure, he's an asshole when he tweets, but that doesn't mean he's an asshole to Rihanna in real life. He could be sorry as pie in real life.
This guy, until a few episodes ago, tormented Kurt all through high school. But now that he's out of the closet and self-destructive enough to attempt taking his own life, people want him and Kurt to get together? It's a crazy double standard.

I dunno, when Brown was asked about the stuff on a TV show interview or something he got all mad, took his shirt off and threw a stool at a window. Seems like he really is an asshole in real life.
Anyway, totally saw the crash coming a mile off when they showed her in the car on her phone.
I came here to post this LOL. I actually think that
Quinn is going to be in the wheelchair for a while until she makes a full recovery (probably in like.. 2 episodes). I also believe that this is going to be the first time that Quinn and Artie have a storyline together, no?.

That was a pretty shitty episode. I liked the scene between Kurt and Karofsky, but everything else was terrible.
I wish Quinn would die (one less shitty character to worry about) but I don't think she will. As others have said, she'll probably end up in a wheelchair like Artie.
The first few scenes made me want to slash my wrists, and when the teachers mentioned suicide I literally stopped watching and started texting my boyfriend (who's also a Karofsky fan and cried the whole episode because of the first scenes lol) in caps saying I was done with Glee.
...then two seconds later they say "or attempts, like David's" lolz. I did think he had died.
Yes I overreact when shit happens to my favourite characters. Every fucking time.
I'm so glad Karofsky is alive! Please show up more. <3
Didn't care about the rest of the episode that didn't involve Karofsky tbh. Sue's fun now though.
Good song but should that song be sung between.....brothers!?! I love the song, and I don't know the context within the episode, but that looks funny as hell. And Darren Criss's emoting in the song had me laughing and rolling over on the floor. That being said, as straight as I am, I would still let Darren Criss do bad things to me.
But, Darren, if you want to properly learn to emote during this song watch these guys (and they aren't even payed, trained actors like you): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOKuAigsrec
I still stand by my comment that "Someone I Used to Know" was the most funny, weird, and out of place segment I have ever seen on television. It didn't make sense at all for two brothers to sing that to each other...especially because their relationship wasn't at that point and they just laughed it off afterward. And are we sure Darren Criss isn't gay in real life? Because if he wasn't, and I hadn't known beforehand, I would guess he was because of that performance. His facial expressions during that song CRACKED ME UP!LMAO
