Chord Overstreet Returns to Glee
Trouty Mouth is getting reeled back in!

Three months after his high profile departure from Glee, Chord Overstreet is in final talks to return to the show on a recurring basis, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Assuming the deal closes — and I’m told it definitely will — Overstreet will reprise his role as the sweet, sculpted Sam beginning with this season’s eighth episode (tentatively scheduled to air in early December).

“We missed Chord and Chord missed us,” says a source close to the show. “It’s a win-win.”

I miss his abs so I'm happy about this news. My speculation:
He's going to be on a rival choir during Sectionals.

A deal's going through now that'll affect the eighth episode? Aren't we seeing episode 4 tonight or next week? They haven't even written episode eight by this point? God damn.

Glee returns on November 1, I believe. They were filming episode 5, 6 and 7 at the same time according to Lea Michelle's Twitter (they should have finished ep. 5 by now though).

Girlfriend and I finally gave up on it. I won't miss it.

The song selection is mostly awful these days with a reliance on show tunes and Broadway which just don't interest us in the slightest.

I think this is about the only show I can remember investing in for awhile and then just cutting the cord.

November 1. new episode titled Pot O' Gold

got a few images of The irish boy from Glee Project.

The solo the irish kid did reminded me of the solo that the english dude had in Grease 2.

Seriously, go watch that scene in Grease 2 and then watch this scene...

Oh Damian wasn't too bad. He needs to work on his acting but he wasn't at Charice levels of suck.

Anyway, I liked the episode and the songs. Damian can sing and he sounds better than when he was on The Glee Project. Quinn is fucking cray cray. Why would Shelby have a bottle of sauce with Beth's name on it? Puck's hair was very distracting. I don't know what to think about the ending, I hope Shelby doesn't fall for him but she sounds desperate.

Now that there's only three girls in New Directions I hope that Tina has chance to sing.

So happy to see Lord Tubbington back! Rory and Brittany eating the chocolate from the litter box was ten kinds of gross.

Burt is awesome and I'm so glad he will go up against Sue because you just know he's not going to take any of her insane crap.

we all know burt will become like Sue in his own way.

I really want to see next week's episode. looks good. and omg. sexy time and creepy song. only if terry and schue was around. but i guess emma and schu and do the duet lol.

Okayish episode.

How many "You're cutting the glee club's budget Mr. Figgins?!" scenes do they need to do? Enough already holy shit. Every time they do that scene, Will acts so serious, but Sue still acts like a cartoon. The only good thing she did this episode was mention the how ridiculous it was for the glee club to fly to NY last season and sing a song that they wrote the night before.

The new guy was okay. He was likable enough, and he can sing pretty well too. He definitely had a better introduction episode than Charice or Sam that's for sure. Although, he smiles far too much.

Rachel's mom letting Quinn and Puck babysit unsupervised was really stupid. What made her think that would be a good idea? As far as she knows, Quinn is an unstable mess. And it was so obvious that they were setting up Puck as her new love interest. Not sure how I feel about that. Perhaps Quinn will use that to her advantage to gain custody of Beth.

"Sour Patch Kids are just Gummi Bears that turned to drugs." lol

where is this from?

episode was average. I was like wtf at quinn's character being so malicious. puck and cougar was telegraphed.

I really didn't feel this episode (though my opinion usually contradicts popular opinion).

Last Friday Night Felt incredibly shoehorned, much more than usual. I want to know what they're going to do with Blaine as a character and NOT just a way to sell a new song on iTunes each week.

I also didn't think I'd like the new kid, but I really do. He seems very genuine and nice (albeit naive). Has a great singing voice and can pull off some high notes.

I'm also getting really tired of the whole "cut budget" plotline. It happens all too often. Also Burt's like "I'd like to see her lose, just once" didn't make much sense because Sue has yet to actually achieve anything.

Quinn has completely gone off the rails (again) as batshit crazy because, once again, she wants to be "perfect." I thought she already came to terms with this ridonculous aspiration. She's been reset again. Her attempts at showing Shelby as a bad parent were absolutely asinine. Her reasons were akin to that of a 10 year old. "I'll put the baby's name on this bottle of hot sauce. That will PROVE she uses it on the baby!"

As creepy as it might be, I like where they're going with Puck and Shelby because there's actual character progression going on, especially on Puck's end.

Finn is being annoying once again and his hostility toward Blaine makes little to no sense. His character has gone from "jock wanting something more" to "I'm probably not going anywhere so I'll just be content with that."

Brittany and Santana together seems random and out of the blue. I had to actually ask my sister while watching "Wait... Artie and Brittany broke up?"

I hope the show finds its footing. The first episode of the season gave me high hopes, but it seems like they're just falling back onto their old ways from season 2.

What? That's a plot from last season. That's why they broke up.

Sorry, I could have worded that a bit better. I think the "randomness" was my whole not realizing/forgetting that Artie and Brittany were no longer an item. I knew they had a fight but I forgot they were officially over.

I blame the hiatus :p

And just like that, Glee is back to season 2 levels of suck.

The plot seemed to be all over the place, and characters are back to acting off of paper thin motivations (Quinn).

The song choices were back to making no sense and being shoehorned. And am I the only one sick of Blaine at this point? We get it, he's cute and perfect and just wants everyone to be happy...give him some freaking dimension already! Because I've gone from swooning every time he was on screen to groaning.

And love how the reintroduced the "Puck likes cougars" bit that they seemingly dropped in season 1 in a scene that was pointless for anything other than setting up Puck and Shelby.

Complete with the D: face at the end, because I know they're gonna screw up somehow.
