Special thanks go to Keith Webb for providing me with the assets and some of the links below!
Platforms: 3DS eShop
Price: $5.99 USD / $8.39 CDN (EU and JP prices TBD)
Release Date: February 23rd, 2017 (NA) / EU and JP TBA
Developer: Tanukii Studios Ltd. / Berries & Company
Publisher: Circle Entertainment
Kokopolo 3D is the sequel to the original Go! Go! Kokopolo on DSiWare by Tanukii and Room 4 Games (which sadly had to be delisted due to Room 4 Games closing down).
Keith Webb used to work at Traveller's Tales Oxford, who some might remember were the developers of Crash Twinsanity and afterward on Super Monkey Ball Adventure. Keith was the 2D artist on those games!
Both games are what Keith Webb has called "Chase-em-ups". In both games, you play as the cat Kokopolo, the Okapi Tatsumo, and for the first time in Kokopolo 3D, you can also play as the spirit guardian Jinbe. All play the same but with different routes in the story. Kokopolo 3D features 80 all-new stages and 10 new bosses to fight at the end of each world.
To play, your goal is to traverse the maze like stages, and you use the A button to scratch an enemy, this causes them to get mad and chase you. Your goal is to lead as many enemies as possible into a Snap-Snap Plant. The goal is to clear all enemies in a level.
Of course!

Here's an interview Keith Webb just did recently with Nintendo Life that covers the game's development, his thoughts on Switch, etc!
