God Save Birmingham - Official Game Reveal Trailer

Watching that video reminded me of Castle Vale , Another Brummie (From Sheldon) here and thank fuck I left there for the Appalachian Mtns (although the inbreeding is really noticeable here in these small towns:messenger_grinning_smiling:)

Lol, well they've got the constant "fuck" / "damn it all" / "christ", complaining correct. I'm constantly swearing when walking about

Glad this is the UK Birmingham and not the US one I grew up in, because God can't save that one.
You ever talk shit about the place where Saw's BBQ is, I will sit down at my typewriter and your ass will receive a strongly worded letter in the mail!

Saw's is overrated. Big Bob Gibson's, Dreamland, hell even Full Moon and Jim N Nick's beats it. My taste buds are infallible.

Fellas, fellas! There's no need to fight, and there's only one way to resolve this conflict.....just both of you send me BBQ samples from each of the restaurants in question, and I'll have to just be the deciding factor.....it's the only way!

I'll give those a try when I go through next, but I have a Jim in Nick's here in Hilton Head and it is very middling. They got rid of my peanut butter pie there, so maybe I'm hiding some hidden bias against the assholes. Maybe

Dude I was hyped at first. The first game set in the southern US that isn't South of Midnight.

Then I was like Birmingham England? Fuck me. They will make a game set in the devil's ass crack before they make one set in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, or Arkansas.

I grew up in TN and lemme tell ya, no one should wanna play a game that takes place there.

Save them indeed, maybe one day the bins will get emptired.
This is all just media bullshit hype. Our bins have been emptied on the specified day for the last 5 weeks in a row.

Now there are places in Birmingham where the residents feel it is okay to throw all their rubbish into one big heap to make it look great for the news but if everyone did what they were told and put their extra sacks next to their bins then you wouldn't get examples of this - why one street needs to take all its collective rubbish and throw it all in one massive pile to make it look terrible? You'd have to ask them why. Perhaps they knew the cameras were coming round.

No way am I defending either the council or the strikers - but there are two sides to every story. Unless you live here and see that its only specific areas doing the above you'll realise it isn't like this at all.

intresting - I did suspect that would be the case (even though I was joking about it)

it's been a while since I was in brum but the last time I was there, it was pretty grim. It's always been a bit rough so the stuff on the news was believable mate. lol

Nah I get it - its the joke its supposed to be and I wasn't getting defensive so no worries.

There are just two sides to every story as I say.

Saw the reveal back in August during Gamescom but this trailer is something else. Game looks VERY good

Please don't be a scam…
It 100% is, my friend

See the other gameplay video from an actual demo. It nowhere near as smooth looking.

Day Before 2.0

Ahhh Birmingham - once likened to a rugby players bath - empty in the middle with a ring of scum around the outside.

Now of course the middle is full of scum too - and also quite literally piles of rubbish and rats.

Zombies would be an improvement.

Birmingham is one of the only places in the UK I've been. :messenger_tears_of_joy: Even the people who live there make fun of it.

I will say, there are some damn good curry restaurants there.

I used to head into Brum every Saturday night when the place had an abundant of alternative/metal clubs. Eddies was fucking incredible and a great renewable source of lovely goth lasses.

for a moment i tough it was a game about garbage truck simulator doing some saving in Birmingham.

Ironically we don't see this in my area, but I'd imagine I'd know where to go to find it.
