I don't want to pay for that damn collector edition(i can't seem to find it anywhere).
Why can't they release the damn book in as a seperate edition?

Don't worry, it sounds like plenty of people who preordered the CE didn't get it because VU undershipped.

But the art book would have been nice to look at while you are waiting in queue to get into the game server.

yeah, my choices were to either wait until (maybe) next week for Gstop to get them in or buy the normal edition now...

that sucks.. blizzard should have had them available everywhere like WC3 at launch.

They might. They did with the artbook for WCIII, though you'd probably save money by buying the CE.

I love diablo. I knew everyone would choose it and sure enough, tons of em are running around, but he is just so bad ass! He even breaths fire when standing around. I got a kick out of his mouseover box: "Diablo Lord of Terror Level 1". I guess even Diablo had to start at level 1 back in the day.

I searched all of OC for the CE and finally found 1 copy at an EB down in Costa Mesa. It was a relatively new store in a strip mall so they probably don't have much of a consumer base or foot traffic yet which is why I think I got lucky. Every other EB, GS, BB, Target, Microcenter, CompUSA and Fry's were ALL sold out of the CEs and none expect any more to come in that I asked. I even checked each stores online counterpart in the hopes of ordering it and also checked Amazon with no luck. I guess Blizzard released a lot fewer CEs for WoW compared to WIII (which the CE could be found in abundance every where for quite some time when it was released). But'cha never know. Maybe some fluke shipment makes it's way to some retailer. This CE is well worth tracking down so good luck to any of you still looking for the WoW:CE!

I remember buying the Warcraft III LE like a year after release.

Anyway, I too, bought the game, but I'll wait 'till next week. Boo on Thanksgiving.
