The main tournament for the event features 8 players. 3 players in the main bracket are invites chosen by a fan vote: 1 player from East Japan, 1 player from West Japan, and a special Extend slot. The other 5 players will be determined via a qualifier the day of the event.

Preliminary Tournament
-40 players total, 5 groups of 8 players
-Round-robin format
-Best-of-3 game match
-In the case of a first place tie, a best-of-3 game playoff will occur
-In the case of a three-way tie for first place, a special playoff will occur, with the first place to achieve a two-game win streak

-Single elimination
-Best-of-3 game match

Main Tournament
-8 players
-Double elimination
-Best-of-3 game match

Nomination and refusal system
-In each tournament round, players draw numbers in a lottery
-The drawer of the first pick then selects one player, challenging them to a match
-The player selected has the right to refuse the match, but is limited to one refusal per round. If the same player is nominated again, they must accept the match
-Process is repeated in each round of the tournament where necessary

I really use to hate this game a lot....But it's been calling me lately. I had a savage Ragna when I was playing hardbody in the CT days. I use to get a hard-on for Arukune vs Ragna matches....Good times...Looking forward to this

As for the schedule, I don't have much details. My guess is that it will be prelims → ladies tournament → main tournament, but I'm not sure. I'm gonna miss a good chunk of the event myself unfortunately, I should be able to watch most of the main tournament at least, if I can stay up.
 
Godsgarden stream has started up, but things are still being put in order I guess.
