Going on a cruise next month

On June 4th we are cruising to Bermuda on the Celebrity Summit out of Bayonne NJ. I am excited because it is our first real vacation since the pandemic.

I dunno man the last cruise I was on had over easy eggs perfectly cooked every morning, I was hitting the gym every morning then swiping a half dozen eggs over some corned beef hash and gettin swole

Posting right now from the ship while waiting for an event to start and we are having the time of our lives. Tomorrow we dock in Bermuda and we have a couple excursions.
 
That was a great cruise and Bermuda is a beautiful country. We took a tour of pretty much the entire island and there is no bad part or area where you would ever feel unsafe. I have never seen such clean water in my life at the beaches. The ship itself is a little small by modern cruise ship standards but it is still a great ship and many people we talked to prefer it that way. We also certainly got our money's worth with the drink package.
 
We go out from Tampa on July 1st to some Mexican 5 day thing. I didn't book it but none the less, it's my first cruise.

We didn't get the drink package but have been informed that the food is unlimited. I hear good and bad things but am more interested in just getting it done since I've never been on one.
 
I am glad your cruise was fun. I guess it was a short one if you had only one port of call. I haven't been on a cruise in a long time, but we are talking about taking our kids on one.

It was a week long cruise and they were in Bermuda for three days and two nights. Usually they don't do overnight ports of call. I can still sort of feel the boat rocking even though I am now on land.

I love going on cruises and everything about them, the ports, the food, the entertainment and I also prefer smaller ships. I want to actually feel like I'm on the ocean and not in a city.

I believe there's a lot to sight seeing, vacation and being intuned with water.
