Both are good movies, so I recommend buying a ticket to Riddick (in support of it) then theater hopping into Spiderman 2 when its over.

Spiderman is slightly better-than-average across the board, but nothing particularly stands out about it.

Riddick has absolutely incredible visuals, some of the best you'll see this year, but its writing is fatally flawed.
