I really cant post much information since I haven't finished downloading it, but it is out. The server got beat to death after the story got dugg. So, after all this time and the need for a revamped Goldeneye, here it is.

BTW, this is Alpha 1. I know it's early, but it is definately playable.

User made mod of Goldeneye n64 multiplayer levels brought to life by the Source engine. Half-Life 2 being the biggest game to use it.

You just drag the GE:Source folder into your mods folder.

It's pretty good actually, but waaay too slow for me. Kudos to the dev team.

I've been playing in some 16 player servers and it's pretty much a mindless deathmatch with that many people. This game will be far better with less people. There's only the PP7, KF7 Soviet, Auto-Shotty, ZMG, and throwing knives at the moment. No jumping and all that new jazz. License To Kill is bloody insane though.

Well, that is nearly 5 times the size of the original Goldeneye 007 for N64.

example... C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\goldeneye

dont listen to the haters this is awesome,if you played (hammered) the original like me this is great stuff.i recommend setting up a 4 player server getting 3 friends on voice comms and its like being back in 1998 albeit with much better graphics and fps,cant wait for even more maps,weapons etc great xmas present
