Boxart, in game art, or otherwise. What game has the best art?
For my money that's pretty hard to beat.

Just two of my favorites, but yeah, there are a lot of games out there that looks gorgeous because of the artwork.
Wait, "good" means "laughably awkward and pretentious" now?Lemurnator said:![]()

Same here. Just how powerful that scene is. He's left everybody behind, no good-byes, just leaving for a big adventure. Finally pursuing his dream. Then the sailor points out the letter in his pocket and it's something that his mom wrote a while back that she now slipped into his pocket. It really is a moving scene. Damn, I love Grandia.Rorschach said:That's one of my favorite scenes of any game. :'(

Getting hungry, Lemurs?
The picture you posted is a piece of artwork depicting Lenneth Valkyrie from Valkyrie Profile.Ironclad_Ninja said:Well, you've got a good eye for art.
The first one is the European/Japanese box art for Ico. The NA boxart was changed, for the worse. The second one is a piece of artwork depicting the Steamer/Parm Port from Grandia.
And here's one more for the thread.

The scene is from the original Grandia. It occurs a few hours into the game. Justin, the main character, shown in the artwork as the only character who is colored. Well, Justin is heading West to the New Continent to start his big adventure to find the Angelou civilization. He has left without saying good-bye to his mom and he has left his childhood friend, Sue goodbye. This artwork depicts his boarding of the steamer that will take him to the New Continent. There's more to the scene, but I basically described the meaning of the artwork.Lemurnator said:Explain it to me? I've never played Grandia![]()
It sure is, I mean it only says that on the art piece it self. :rolleyes.temp said:The picture you posted is a piece of artwork depicting Lenneth Valkyrie from Valkyrie Profile.
