Good thing we have gaming as a hobby during covid-19- times

I have several friends and collegues who are super depressed right now because they have nothing to do at home. No sports on TV are killing some.

Good thing I always played video games in my freetime anyway 😂

I thought about this yesterday as well. I missed watching some NBA, but I remember I have right now a lifetime of games waiting to be played and no sign of humdrum kicking in. It's amazing how I never get tired of gaming, my girlfriend is usually bored after more than a couple of hours at home and yet you can leave me alone forever and I'd never complain.

I went to the garage to put petrol in the car last night and the girl behind the counter said that the lad who'd just been in before me had been sent home as he thought he had the virus.
He probably wanted to go out drinking with his mates :messenger_tears_of_joy:.
I'm more or less set though if I need to isolate, I've got loads of games that I haven't finished yet, some I've not even started yet. No football or rugby kind of sucks but can't be helped.

I wanted to buy a switch again, but the UK isn't getting stock until the end of next month :messenger_grinning_smiling:

I have emulators to keep me occupied. But it sucks that you can't even buy a console now.

Damn, I didn't even know there were shortages, though it makes sense.
Does cex not even have any?

I agree. This one guy I've followed since January about CV mentioned having "deep" or more complex hobbies should things get worse, and well, he was right. But I've got plenty. Some shows and movies to watch, a gargantuan backlog to dive into with Nioh 2 taking the cake, and my homebrew rpg to dork around in with my gal. I was going to go to the range with my Dad since I've gotten new guns and he's mod'd his, but I've got a cold and don't want to risk passing it on.

And for those who are more social butterflies, unlimited cell phone plans and video messaging should alleviate some pain and frustration, whilst us gamers have voice chat and parties to mess around in.

oh yeah its kind of funny to see "social distancing" and be like, wait, that's actually encouraged now?

Well even if they don't like games they can easily watch movies and tv series right? I mean everyone likes movies.

I would be depressed if this virus somehow brings down electricity & Internet. Then I would be fucked & have to suffer like the rest those dreading isolation.
