Where did all of this ToD love come from? I've been listening to them for awhile. Hell, I saw them live at Coachella last May. You people suck!

They rocked when I saw them at Coachella. Even in 108 degree heat, in the middle of the day, they freakin' rocked. And they threw out free water bottles to the crowd.

I've been listening to them since before they joined the 10er club at Pitchfork. You suck!

They're playing here sometime in November. I really hope they play a lot of the new material. They're easily one of the 5 best live acts I've ever seen. I wouldn't miss them for the world.

Part of the artwork for the upcoming album (or possibly the single to be released in october). Queen Victoria. Painted by Mr. Conrad Keely himself.

Haha they sucked at Coachella man that must have been your only experience with them. At one point the guy apologized for them sucking so much because they hadn't played a show in six or so months. Even if I hadn't seen them rock so much ass before I would say that Coachella show sucked balls. It was weird too because they had a second drummer, before they didn't. Plus the bassist has quit now.

At the first show of theirs I saw the guy jumped in the crowd and handed me the mic and let me sing a few parts of the song (seriously) and I got a drum stick. Now that show rocked.

Haha, he did apologize, but they did in no way suck. Some of the other bands were just awful due to heat and they were stuck in the middle of the goddamn day.

I hadn't seen them live before, though. The one gig they played near me about some months prior, at The Black Cat in DC, I had to have surgery the same day. Damn you fate!

every single song ever created by ToD is worth stabbing someone in the face for. i hate to use the word amazing, but i have no trouble using it on them.

Trail of Dead is the best band to come out of NY since Sonic Youth. Someone here called them "Sonic Youth for kids" and I agreed with them, but now I'm not so sure. They basically picked up where ATDI left off, in terms of adding a new creative unique kind of energy to punk rock. +1 ToD.

ToD aren't an NY band. I might be wrong but I believe all the members are from Texas.

EDIT: From Interscope:

Kevin Allen, Neil Busch, Conrad Keely and Jason Reece grew up in the small Christian community of Planoe, Texas -- a place more known for cattle ranches and its single corner grocer than for its music. The four boys grew up in close proximity and shared a love of singing. In junior high they joined the church choir, where they competed internationally in vocal ensemble competitions.

I knew they were centered in Texas, and I knew at least two of the members were from there. They used to tour with ATDI back in the day. That would be an awesome show.
