You actually get "banned" if you use anything other than a keyboard with that game (including a touch screen). :|

I'm just talking UI design, dude. Don't get pissy.jonnybryce said:People will be smart enough to understand that the box they hit play on can be double tapped, just like people were smart enough to learn how to do multitouch or copy and paste. If not, then they don't get full screen. It's a nice option.
ITT we hate on Android's implementation of Flash before we've seen it.
That's Chris Johnston. Hacker alias superpac I think. He also heads the PlayerOne podcast, which you all should check out because it's amazing.JonathanEx said:WHAT.
I love that person. And would love them more for a Android-optimised version.
Nailed it.Sir Fragula said:Would much rather people just stopped using Flash.
dojokun said:On the Nexus One, you give focus to something on a webpage using the trackball. The "focus" is denoted by an orange box around the item that is being focused on. Alternatively, I imagine the trackball could be used as a mouse to move a cursor.
jonnybryce said:IDK, but Symbian already supports Flash so maybe you want to look into how those phones do.
I have one and you're right, it jumps link to link.Mecha_Infantry said:I don't think that will work, according to what I know, the trackball isn't free roaming, it barely just jumps from linkbox to linkbox or controls the page. It's not a mouse in the slightest.
And I believe that's not Flash Lite?

I'm saying with 2.2 maybe they can implement a cursor to better facilitate Flash.
dojokun said:I'm pretty sure getting Flash on the device was a lot harder than just implementing a cursor.

Not saying it's easy, but I was guessing that Flash was more complex. I guess it's possible that Flash was easier than a pointing device. Maybe someone who has worked on both can share his/her thoughts.Mecha_Infantry said:lol, I guess you don't know the complexities of a pointing device
I thought he was being sarcastic. (shrug)dojokun said:Not saying it's easy, but I was guessing that Flash was more complex. I guess it's possible that Flash was easier than a pointing device. Maybe someone who has worked on both can share his/her thoughts.
Fit to window and fill window aren't the same things. Is the way to get out of a filled Flash window the same as getting out of a fitted picture? What if I have expectations for a picture to fill a window in the same way Flash elements do?jonnybryce said:Double tap already exists as "fit to window," so your comment didn't even make sense. I can double tap a paragraph or a picture, I can double tap a flash box.
If he was being sarcastic then my point stands. They can implement a cursor and use the trackball to move the cursor. And then the cursor can activate rollover events.MultiCore said:I thought he was being sarcastic. (shrug)
