Google Photos is great to backup photos but the search barely works for me.

Still, storing all my photos for free in all devices is something I can't complain about.

New Messaging app? Hmm...So is Hangouts dead?

Yeah, I don't use the search, but the Tagging of photos and unlimited storage makes it super special.

Not ready for public use.

Though Fulay and Kay showed me some of what Allo could do during a recent visit to Google, they wouldn’t let me use it on my own. And the Google Home device was nowhere to be seen. But even if these tools do prove useful, they won’t deliver true conversations anytime soon. The state-of-the-art just isn’t there yet, as Google acknowledges. “We are very far from where we want to be,” says Google research director Fernando Pereira, who helps oversee the company’s work with natural language understanding.

How about instead of another proprietary messaging service, you come up with an open-platform for messaging that can replace texting and allow people to use their base software of choice?

A slider that changes the font size. Wow.

That was reaching Apple Conference levels of hilarity with people cheering for that.

Phone number built right in. This will probably replace hangouts and messenger. Looks great so far
