I was thinking that you could download updates for specific games. Such as newer tracks/cars for Wipeout Pure. Yet when I go to the PSP website, all they seem to offer for each game are things like video playback and wall paper. What gives? I could've SWORN I've seen actual game content updates somewhere before. I'm not talking about "homebrew" either. I'm talking about actual official updates.

There are downloadables for Wipeout Pure. You can use your PSP with Wipeout to access the web directly to get them, if you have access to wireless internet.

I think with Wipeout you have to actually download them within the game, it has a built in web browser. So you need to get yourself a wireless router or access point and then download it directly with your PSP.

If you don't have Wi-Fi access available to you, then as an alternative you can use your PC to go to the offical Wipeout Pure Web site and download the additional content.

You'll also need to have a USB cable to connect your PSP to your PC.

Besides Wipeout Pure, I know that GripShift has some downloads available for it, too.
