Everything is plugged in just fine!

its a leadtek tv2000xp... help!

I have to ask the obvious question -- have you used the cable jack before? If not, it could be a problem with the wiring.

yea, its the one from my TV, it looks perfect on the tv!

The only visible issue is that the cable femal is huge, and the cable male doesnt cover the whole thing... like the part that sticks out goes in, but its not long enough to go all the way down

I recently got a tuner card as well and I had bought a couple different brands of coax cables, real cheap GE Target coax cable and some fancier Radio Shack. I tried using the Target brand first and I had a bunch of static and interference so I tried the Radio Shack coax and cleared it right up. Make sure you don't have wires crossing over each other and check your connection if you are using a splitter, also make sure your splitter isn't a cheap one.

So you're attempting to watch cable TV on your computer, right? Have you tried connecting another source, like a DVD player or a game system?

I tries to post before you had said the cable worked on your TV. Sorry man. Check to see if the card is installed properly if it is call the manufacturer and ask them to trouble shoot it or replace it for you.
