He's a yorkshire terrier. I've trying to think of names for the last hour or so but I can't think of anything that my mom likes. My main suggestions were Taiko, Ein, and well, I can't remember anymore. Some other Japanese ones a friend suggested. I want something that isn't simple like "Spot" or "Max" but not that obscure either. I have another yorky and his name is Kirby.

My old Yorkshire Terrier's name was Cappy. He lived a good life.

My current Yorky cross Maltese is named Bubbles.

I used to have a Maltese too named Snowball who lived a very long life.

Aren't yorky's the best though? Kirby has so much personality it's amazing.

My penis is still intact.
I call my cat Princess Lovely. It's not her name, but I'll be damned if I let my family voting me out stop me.

I have a Yorkie too, about 13 pounds; his name is CJ (after my first and middle initials, Christopher John), but I have a good dozen or so other names for him depending on my mood-- "Seuss", "Watson", "Inspector Cluseau", "Noodles", "Puddings", "Buttocks", "Deviant", and a host of others. He's just so adorable that you have to call him all these names with a funny voice to poke fun at him-- he looks like a little Gizmo (from the Gremlins). As you can tell, he's my world. :)

On a completely unrelated note, I originally read this thread title as "got another puppyl " (mistaking the exclamation point for an "L"). I was wondering if there was an alkyl group that I hadn't heard of somehow. Word to the wise: this is what too much organic chemistry does to a man... :p

I like your thinking (see above; I tend to use the plural "puddings", however). :D

or Gog, which is what my first dog was named since I wasn't old enough to say it properly.

They're cute, but not as cute as mine. :D The second one looks like he's about to kick somebody's ass. :p

You can tell that the first one is young-- his coloring is mostly black. When we got my dog, he was pretty much all black, with a little brown on the head; as he's aged, the brown areas expanded and he's gotten a nice silver color, too. Some of the black is still there, obviously, mostly along his sides towards the bottom and on his back. His legs and butt and head are almost all brown.

Now that I look at it again, the second dog looks a bit like mine, but my dog's ears don't fall straight down on the sides like that, and his face is a bit fuller. Having two of them is great-- it's what the vet said that you should do if you have Yorkies, because they really need a lot of attention/stimulation.

WTF Spot is usual? And I thought I was cool naming my dog that... but that was a while back. Waaay back I mean.

I had a Boxer puppy that was sired from a family of show dogs. So we got this pedigree family tree with him....some of the pretentious names that were on there, like WISPERING ROGUE MOUNTAIN...ELEGANT ROLLING LEAF.....so we just called Max. :D
