Well well the celebritie the Holidays.

Last Friday my roommate of almost two years (yes trans one) told me she's moving out in less than two weeks right before Christmas.

I already got her her Christmas presents.

I am in complete shock right now.

Ever since last Friday, I've been crying my ass off. This person means more to me than anything else in the entire world and it's a complete shock to my system.

If you truly care about your friend, give them the gift early and be supportive of their decision. Explain how you feel if you haven't already, but always be supportive of the ones you love, and help them grow--don't hold them back because of your personal feelings.

Who knows, she may change her mind and stay, or come back later. Either way, be well and take care of yourself and each other.

Sorry to hear that. I know some people on here joked around a lot about your roomate but she clearly is someone that means a lot to you. Hopefully you can still stay in touch and you can get another roomate in, think of it as an opportunity to make a new friend.
 
If I'm remembering the previous threads correctly, she already said she wasn't interested, so this sounds just like a surface level high school breakup that's been long overdue. It probably sucks for you that she's leaving now, but it's probably better for both of you long term. Again, my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure it's been nothing but a mess according to your posts.

Thread 'Not So Merry Christmas'

So, I asked my roommate if she was going to be here Christmas Day and she said she had no reason not to be. My elderly neighbor also asked if my roommate could help her with food preparation and whatever else, to which she agreed.

So Monday afternoon, I noticed her stereo wasn't on which was unusual because she always sleeps with her stereo on.

Later on at night when she usually wakes up, I noticed there was no light.

I started to get suspicious and then realized that she probably wasn't home. Tuesday was the day she was supposed to help my elderly neighbor with food preparation. Again...

You're crying because a person you're emotionally dependent on, has no interest in you romantically, takes advantage of your generosity, and clearly doesn't respect you, is moving out.

Take a moment and think about that.

Come on, man. We've been through this before. She's a toxic influence on your life.

I do hope you can find another roommate soon though. And hopefully someone who's a better person.
