ribeye is generally my favorite too, especially when I cook it myself. But the best steak i've ever had was still a filet mignon at a fancy place

God I love steak so so much, sometimes, I only go shopping to buy one, a big one, or two smaller ones, depends on my mood'n shit and then I eat them medium-rare without any side dish.

All hail the meat god!

I can't wait until restaurants open up again so I can have a nice dine in steak. I can cook steak at home, but the dine in experience has been missed.
Yep, as a guy who is not the best at buying and cooking meat, i can't wait to eat some tomahawk or pricey shit in a meat specialized reastaurant.

Hey OP, have you ever had the picanha cut? Very very popular in Brazil and Portugal

Look into it, it's great for barbecue :)

The best steak I've had was a restaurant at a casino I'd go to for our management review meetings, the boss would pay for everything so I would order an off menu 24oz blackened prime rib with blue cheese on top. The thing was so big, there's no way it was 24oz, had to be closer to 32.

One day I will master doing those different types of steaks. My favorite is Trip-tip Steak.

At home I like a tenderloin fillet or a porterhouse basted in butter. At a restaurant I like prime rib with plenty of horseradish and au jus. Add a giant baked potato and that is the perfect meal
