Interesting list. A lot of people will be upset about Kid A not getting any love including me but I think that's a really solid top 5. I'm also not on board with Vampire Weekend and Beyonce being on the list. Too soon to determine whether those albums should be on this type of list. Interested to hear other people's opinions on this.

Could be worse. Could be a lot better too.

I have no idea why people like Sea Change though. Terrible, boring album imo.

Edit: Voodoo and Stankonia shouldn't be on there because they came out in 2000. I'm surprised at no Untrue too.

Praise Yeezus, may his reign be forever glorious.

#2 through #5 are perfect.
that's the wrong VW album for the list though.

and I get that they probably didn't wanna put two Daft Punk albums on there, but RAM deserves a spot too.

Channel Orange is kinda high on there. Good album but not up there with Is This It and Discovery chill.

I'm.... I'm actually not going to argue this one. Considering cultural/social relevancy and the sound influence in the latest music these all feel right. Maybe the rankings are off, but dropping those I don't have much of an issue with the list.

you speak so well
Order aside (and I pretty much agree with the top five anyway), that's a very, very solid list.

Those are the albums on that list that I've listened to and enjoyed. Not too surprised by that, since music tastes are so subjective. There's others on the list that I've listened to, but they'd never break into my personal "top" list.

I will say that I'm surprised at the overall quality of this list though.

This is the first one of these lists posted here that actually has some stuff I listen to, bravo.

FutureSex should be top 5 though, it's that good.

Me too. I'm really glad to see an LCD Soundsystem album on that list, in the top 5 no less. I'm suprised Fever to Tell is there though. Great album but I'm sure there are others more deserving of being on a top 21.

This should really be called "Top 21 Albums that had Songs on Top 40 Stations," because it's missing some amazing rock, folk, bluegrass, etc albums.

No Funeral, Kid A, The Moon & Antartica, Madvillany, Merriweather Post Pavilion, Boxer or Yankee Foxtrot Hotel ....

Well that's one way to make a list.

Top 5 is solid tho.

Also Elephant over White Blood Cells and Chanel Orange in the top 10...
