Graduating high school: depressing?

if i were to graudate my junior year, i probably would have been depressed. but finishing the last two years and dealing with girls, hs drama, friends and their rampant stupidity, idiot teachers, boring ass schedules, and girls again had me WISHING graduation were sooner. as others have said, graduation is being set free from the leash, and it's wonderful. you don't have to deal with the people who bothered you on a daily basis via running into them into hallways or them wrongly assuming they're part of the cool and hot clique.

college >>>>>>>>>>>>>> hs

Matlock -- that was fucking lame. Whether or not it was a fake spoiler, you managed to upset a bunch of people and derail this thread. Not everyone here spends ten hours a day on the forum staying current on the latest inside "joke" which isn't even funny. Don't do that again.

If anyone can confirm that it was a REAL spoiler, PM me and further action will be taken.

Damn, this thread was sure pretty interesting at the beginning.

In all honesty RE4's impending release has me excited and it's offsetting the depressing thoughts related to graduation.

BTW, my depression started during winter break, the longest break of the year, after the first few days of not being around classmates and what not. People thought I was nuts for wanting the vacation to end. :lol

EDIT: I think Matlock's 'spoiler' is an RE Gaiden joke. If it was, then he did everyone a favor by telling people what happened so people can avoid that stupid game. But that's just me.

This is about as real as "HERMIONE DIES." Calm down

Thank you.

Jesus christ, I make a RE4 joke in a CVXFREAK thread and everyone takes it seriously. If he actually does die, I apologize...but jeez, lighten up at the fake spoilers.

RE Gaiden had that ending? Heh, I thought it was just supposed to be a GBC remake of the original. Ah well--I've never put any real time into any RE title (other than Dino Crisis 1, the dino-lovin' cousin of it) to know anything past: 1. Zombies. 2. Poor voice acting.

Ah well.

And CVXFREAK: any change is a wee bit depressing, but you'll have to realize that even if you stuck around, you'll invariably get divided from those who you know and love. You grow, you spread your wings, random cliche here.

You'll do alright, duder.

I kinda suspected it was a joke, but you didn't make it too obvious. But I can't criticize you because I've probably done something similar in the past. :)

Honestly, when I graduated it didn't feel any different. I didn't get upset or anything, didn't get overly excited, just nothing.

College doesn't feel any different, either. Just a new school with new kids.

Graduating high school will be one of the best things that will ever happen to you. No matter how much fun you're having in high school you'll have a million times more when you're done with it. F*ck all the high school bullsh*t, waking up at 7am everyday, being there all the damn time, and having to attend almost every class. Life is so much better after high school. And you'll still see everyone you wanna see.

Yes that has happened to me during all my graduations... I wonder how fast time flies and wonder what my friends and others will be up to in the future.

Good thing I've done school for a few years now and don't need to get all depressed thinking about that. Live goes on!

A FEW YEARS?! Dude...you already have a steady job and a fiance! And all I ever heard from you was how school kept getting into the way of your gaming! :lol

Seriously though, I was glad to get out of High School myself...my only regret about University was the few girls I nailed during my 4 years there...sigh...Now if I could return to University without the classes, I'd be a happy camper
