That Killzone date could be placeholder, first day of the month and a Wednesday. The last game I can remember being released on a Wednesday in the UK was Colin McRae 2.0. Though, Halo 2 being released on a Thursday is also unusual so perhaps Sony are just trying out the same ruse.
