I got Scirocco (meh), Focus St (better) and SLS Amg (if I recall correctly). Would be happy if I could get Megane RS though - Megane was the first car on my first PS3 game I ever played on my own Playstation console

I love how betas are now being used as marketing devices than they're actually intended purpose - reporting bugs and glitches.
And I can't for the life of me understand why people who didn't get in are pissed off.

On Pro its utterly gorgeous...I'm on a 1080p tv and the iq is just fabulous....coming on the back of assetto and PCars this looks a generation apart! And performace looks rock solid 60fps in game angles..So nice to see them get to the Forza level of performance....dips during the track side angles mind. Cars, lighting, tarmac, DOF and motion blur look phenomenal....trees/foliage look really good to me...and when the light clips the leaves the effect is utterly convincing, same when it hits the cars at the right angle...Cant wait to see the different TOD settings and the weather! GUI looks super slick and classy and the GUI music is classic PD....Scapes looks classy......Colour me hugely impressed...It just .."looks" like GT...there's that classic ..."feel" only GT has...Hope it plays well lol!

This is new - it appears that they've relaxed restrictions in the past 24 hours. In the phase 1 accounts that didn't have registered access were blocked from the network. Today I am able to authenticate my Australian account with the American beta app (no code has been sent).
Edit - as a result of this, codes are now once off shareable, as network access is no longer blocked for accounts that aren't registered.
Edit:
Phase 1 American account still has 3 races available. Oz account shows no races available.

im new to the gran turismo series. i got my code, downloaded and i have to wait for saturday 15th to race? is that normal for a gt beta? or is this a new thing they're trying? is it because of the servers? if i buy the game will i be able to play whenever? even offline?

The Evora is so much fucking fun to drive. It was the first car I unlocked and I spent a lot of time playing around with it.

I never spent much time with it so it was a surprise for me when I unlocked it. I initially groaned as I wanted a supercar, but I instantly fell in love with it once I actually started driving it.
All unlocks are random. You'll be able to unlock a new car every day by driving 26 miles.
Yeah, UI is great. Hoping they let us turn off the rear-view mirror in bumper cam during gameplay though.

Won 2 races back to back on the Nurb.
Your qual time is a little outrageous. I spent almost an hour trying to even match it and no dice.
Would it have killed PD to give us a couple of days of Arcade mode before the online beta goes live on Saturday? The wait is torture.
