Additional info (bablefish'ed):

more than 30 vehicles, but also of the immense environments of races (more than 10.000 km² for 20.000km of tracks) since our only goal will be to finish at the head and that some is the borrowed way. It should be noted that Grand Offroad Raid will offer to us for the occasion a mode Xbox Live exclusive

This makes me hungry for that Motor Storm game... The one SCEA showed at the E3 press conference. Now that looked like a truly "next gen" racing experience!

Is this even rally racing? There's no signs of a "track" in these pics.

Yep. It looks like a mad off roader.

Xbox live could be really fun with this game.

Already you can see they've got the lighting right. Nice one :)

looks cool.. forest needs more brush though (or better brush)

You mean more bush. I think we could all do with more bush. :D

am I the only one that think this looks plain bad O_o, I mean look at the grass and other objects on the screen they look like sprites, the model of the cars doesn't seem quite right (ex: the size of the wheels)

4:3 shots?

PC shots. But it's also getting developed for 360. I would expect the 360 version to look a lot better then this.

Why are these screens 4:3? Is this one of those games that's being developed on a pc but they claim is a 360 title because they need a publisher.

Obviously this game is very rough as it's unfinished. Technically, it still has a ways to go, as Tre mentioned the lighting isn't even there (note the placeholder shadows for the trees/bush).

But artistically this game is looking GREAT. Great colour palette, models and bg look pretty realistic (despite the lack of any shadows).

Conceptually interesting as well.

I have played this demo and it is awesome! They are looking to have 200 cars or so racing simultaneously. Multiple races going on on one map.

The tech is still very early and has a lot leftover from the Xbox version like sprite vegitation, etc.

The cars look like remote control cars in all the zoomed out pics.. :lol

Mmm... next-gen RC Pro-AM. Make it happen!

it sounds pretty cool and looks decent so far... i look forward to hearing more and seeing more. is this another one of those "we're looking for a publisher" games though? do these guys actually have 360 kits to work on?

The action in the trailer looks like slow motion and the graphics, well... :/ Is this really from 360?

The graphics in the trailer looks sweet. Really, people are expecting TOO much, you're only going to let yourselves down.

So.. things on Xbox 360 is always realtime, and will be like 40% better with the real hardware, and PS3 is always pre-rendered? :)

Please why are you trying to trash this thread? Insecure? I guess but please try hard not to.

depite some TERRIBLE music, that trailer looked pretty sweet. i love those environments, they look quite realistic and are packed with vegitation.

the game looks pretty promising thus far, only thing really lacking is any sort of damage modeling. i'd like to see some really awesome destruction going with those cars (i dont think they were real, licensed cars).

i hope they find a publisher.

Exactly right, or at the very least they can create a PS3 thread and discuss insecurities there. ;)

Just a thought... :)

Actually I thought the enviornments sucked. The cars were going through fences and the fences suffered no damage. The grass and dirt did not leave tracks. The vehicles did not appear to have any slow down when driving through tall grass vs the dirt road. It just didn't look realistic. I am not saying it doesn't look fun though.

Those are usually the telltale signs of a game being pretty early. Same with the non-existant lighting. If this was a game that was shipping, yeah, that'd be pretty bad, but right now it looks as if they're fishing for publishers (and I hope they find one).
