It's new of course.Gek54 said:Is the trailer new or is that from the old xbox version?
Brosa said:HD-era? It doesn't strike me as something impossible to create on current Xbox. Forza looks better on my Xbox with my 4:3 crappy telly. If this is a next-gen desert racing game I want Motor Storm quality! Move the positions forward, shock me, make me want to spend several hundred dollars on the next generation console. I want to race with Velocity Girl, but I want it to feel next-gen doing so on my Gold account. Otherwise I don't see the incentive to hop on the NG bandwagon. If this is the PC version and does not represent the final quality of the 360 version, please stop providing these links in 360 threads or more people than me will be put off (even if that surely doesn't show by the comments from people on this thread). Don't let half-ass looking games slip thru your QC claiming to be 360's which could just as easily be released for Xbox, and don't release this kind of quality trailers claiming to be the next thing to give our sacrifices to or you will loose the next round aswell Mr('s). "Wow, that looks very fun."
"The graphics in that trailer look really good. The lighting and sky look especially nice."
"looks superb."
"This looks great to me"
"The graphics in the trailer looks sweet."
- What is superb, great or sweet about this slow-paced, boring looking racing game? To me, this screen reminds me of one of those sponged water-color paintings you're forced to create in art class in school:

Yes thank you, I watched the trailer as I commented a while back up in the thread. Well, I'm not sure it can be done on Xbox as I'm not a games programmer, I said "it doesn't strike me as something impossible to create on current Xbox". It's not shock and awe, jawbreaking, astonishing next-gen quality to me.
Just look at this and then the Motor Storm trailer and then tell me which game looks more next gen than the other. And please just don't give me that "but Motor Storm is prerendered" argument. For all we know (if that is true), that might just aswell be its drawback as the final game might look even better... The worst for GOR might not be the quality of graphics even, but the pace surely is from looking at the trailer. Slooooooow Moooootiooooon.
This game will not make me throw 60 bucks on the counter at EB, but
- ah well, taste is an individual thing. Some have it and some don't...![]()

Fight for Freeform said:Obviously this game is very rough as it's unfinished. Technically, it still has a ways to go, as Tre mentioned the lighting isn't even there (note the placeholder shadows for the trees/bush).
But artistically this game is looking GREAT. Great colour palette, models and bg look pretty realistic (despite the lack of any shadows).
Conceptually interesting as well.

It uses the Xvid codec, so installing ffdshow is indeed a good idea.mckmas8808 said:What do I need to download to play avi videos?

You don't have to thank me for clarifying...I'm just a videogame racing freak. Hey man, if you have any questions regarding racers and racing games, I'm the man to ask.
