Grandia 3 screens

What are the chances of the devs fixing that horribly annoying texture shimmering?
None.
a) it's far too late for such changes on a project of this scope.
b) Japanese devs are notorious for ignoring texture aliasing even on platforms that handle it virtually automatically, let alone PS2.

Yeah, it was the only gripe I really had about GT4's visual performance. Oh well, game still looks great to me. The battle system (best part of Grandia IMO) looks rocking and I think the character designs are decent enough. One thing I want to know is will you be able to fly airships around the world ala Skies of Arcadia? I really loved the feel of exploration in that game. It looks like airships will play a major role in this game due to the main character looking like a pilot (similar to the other big RPG, FFXII), so I hope they maintain a good sense of exploration while traversing the world with them.

Damn, this reminds me that i have to start the Grandia 2 copy i grabbed to DC. I have way too many game going at once. I promise to start playing it as soon as i finish up Star Ocean 2 :p.

Is Grandia 3 one seamless world or it's seperate locations you enter from a world map?

Rocket, yah you can enjoy it without playing the original. You should still play the original since its simply a better game.

This looks freaking gorgeous. I'm not a big RPG person, but I'm definitely interested in this. Grandia 2 was one of the few RPGs I really liked.

Definately. I also played Grandia 2 first and I'm enjoying Grandia 1 right now.
