What would you consider the greatest multiplatform game (or series) of all time? I've never really been a multi-console gamer so I am genuinely interested.
The ideal multiplatform game would maintain a consistent high quality across many different console (or handheld) versions, and even across different generations. Bonus points if the port manages to take advantage of each console's unique features.
Here's my (obvious) choice:
Tetris - Its probably the most ubiquitous videogame, with ports ranging from TI calculators to mainframes. And most Tetris ports I've played have been pretty good because the concept is so simple.
