Such a weird culture.
'Kakuhido', which translates as the Revolutionary Alliance of Men that Women Find Unattractive
My men. Valentine's is a corporate soul sucking holiday.
So they are against three foreign holidays... something something nationalism.
Man, Japanese is an information condense language.

Well that's... not good. It sound like they're bitter from not being flirted with..
To be honest, I really like Japanese valentines day. I wish we had it here.
Our Valentine's day seems to be like Japan's white day. But Japan has both.
I love it when women buy men gifts, and confess their romantic feelings for them.
Chocolate boxes are priced like luxury items in Asia, they don't buy chocolate from Walmart or Kinder. Just in Hong Kong where flowers are the minimal expected gift by the average "princess"... around US$ 120 for few roses
Goodness, I have no idea. I don't know what causes differences in culture on things like this. I don't know how Japanese Valentines Day and White Day happened. Is it because of Christian culture that in the west, women have no special occasion to confess romantic feelings?
RAMWFU = Ram Waifu
I would laugh so hard if this was the case.Yeah, but the current chairman's name is Mark Waters. Unless that's a pseudonym, it seems as if someone went planeflyingintothesunset.gif and got very disappointed in the outcome.

Apparently, in Japan chocolate manufacturers see more than half their annual sales in the week before Valentine's Day (25% on the actual day)Is it? I mean, it's not like there are giant mega corporations all based around selling Valentine's gifts.
Mostly it's local businesses - flowers, upscale confectionery shops, restaurants. I don't think the really big companies like say Hershey or whatever really make a killing from it, while the smaller places (especially the confectionery shops) need the business to stay afloat for the year.
Not so much "chase after", but women give chocolates to men on valentines day be it out of love, friendship or social obligation, then white day you return chocolates to the people who gave them to you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Day
Despite the Marxist rhetoric, Mr Furusawa has since stepped down as head of the group, posting distinctly un-Marxist photographs of his new set of wheels, boasting "thanks to our actions I purchased a Mercedes" as a parting shot.
They've even started to push "Reverse Valentine's Day" a month later in Japan. My men. Valentine's is a corporate soul sucking holiday.
You get chocolate that you can't eat because you have to return it to the person that gave it to you on valentines?
Anyone? Why didn't they anonymously send each other chocolate? Or date each other?
I thought that Naruto SD episode was only joking....
An Otaku or a moe fan ;-)What's the japanese equivalent to a fedora?
