Bit of a surprise that the Zentorno is third, and suddenly faster than cars it was previously supposed to be slower than (T20, X80 Proto, etc.).

He made a comment about it:

A few quick points that are worthy of note:
1) The things I say at the end can't be stressed enough. The lap time differences between the top cars here are TINY. On different tracks, with different drivers and driving styles/methods, there will be different results. I can only do so much as one person and these are the results I've gotten. Read the description to see how relevant this may be to you personally as everything is explained there.
2) A few people were asking why the times/positions may have changed. Firstly, some of the original testing was done on old gen which sometimes ran at less consistent frame rates than current gen. In addition, we're now 2 and a bit years down the road from that original testing so my skill level has no doubt changed too. Finally, there are reports that changes were made to cars with the Cunning Stunts update which basically made them all quicker to some extent (this has been echoed in my testing even with some of the more modern cars). All of these things combine to make changes almost inevitable when retesting is done. Of course this is the most up to date list now with all cars being tested after the most recent update and at the same time, so it's as accurate (within the realms of what's discussed in the description) as it's going to be.

The Zenterno is still my favorite car in the game. Though I really like the latest Pegassi.

Yeah man. The grind is real for sure. The heists make things fun - if you can find a team to do it with!
I also enjoy the stunt races. Again if you can find a race without the biggest cunts deliberately knocking you off course it's good fun.
One thing is for sure though, GTA online has its fair share of bellends. If you find a world without them though it's golden

GTA Online is defnitely the most fun if you have friends to play it with. I'm lucky to have a bunch of them still playing so that keeps me going. Missions and especially CEO stuff with randoms is always a gamble.

Also really considering letting go of the idea of buying that Ruiner. Feels like such a grind to get to 4,3 million and then to spend it all on one car. I'd probably have more fun if I just get the Tempesta and fully upgrade that and then still have money to spare. At least I've managed to steal 32 cars to unlock the special works missions.

i think sometimes i get kicked because i'm too high level (400-ish). the other day i got asked by a low level if i had any hacks. i told him there are no hacks on ps4. lol.

Yeah it still surprises me when I get someone in the lobby asking "who's a modder?" simply because they see multiple rank 300+ characters.

Also hooked back up with some old crewmates from PS3 days which has made doing crates and import/export far more enjoyable, the latter of which I only recently started doing after selling off my Lynx (temporarily) to afford the vehicle warehouse. Up to 9 and a quarter million which feels rad as it's the most money I've had in the game outside of the billion dollar bounty days and the character swap money glitch. Although I still haven't purchased any of the special vehicles which obviously are all rather expensive

Lastly in case anyone is interested in the info I was reading that the current PS4 Pro update (which is in beta afaik) helps improve GTAO performance. Better loading times, locked 30 fps and a few other improvements. Definitely sounds nice to me considering the game itself doesn't have a Pro patch.

Making money has been going smoothly tonight. Have been playing with friends for a couple of hours. So they helped me getting rid of a couple of cars from my vehicle warehouse. When one of them left we decided on filling up a 16 crate warehouse with some headhunter/Sightseer in between. Even as an associate I made quite some money. My last payment for being associate was 9,5K.

What I didn't know by the way was that any kind of money I make while being associate goes to the VIP. I went into LS Customs to sell a Lampadati Felon I took from the streets (easy 9K) and a message popped up that 90% went to the VIP and 10% to Securoserve :lol

Up to 3,8 million now. Working my way up to 5 million is the plan now and then I'll see if I pull the trigger on that Ruiner 2000. Did the mission to unlock the cheaper price today. That car sure is a hell of a lot of fun.

Crates are your medium for operation in the CEO missions. You have to buy an office, warehouse, etc. to use that stuff. No overlap at all with the motorcycle businesses (so you can't use any of the same properties between them).

I wouldn't really call crates a "make money fast" activity so much as a time investment with a large payoff (depending on warehouse size). Selling a full small warehouse nets you 240k (16 crates), medium 700 something thousand (42 crates) and a large is like 2.2 million (111 crates!). For me the crate pickup missions are a chore though most of the time and I haven't been able to bring myself to buy anything other than a small warehouse.

Running crates suck. Vehicle warehouses is actually fun and you can earn some good cash. Another option is (shock/horror) buying a Shark Card. Rockstar give you an extra 40% with the ~$12 one at the moment too. Much better than joining the cheats and using modded lobbies etc. Cheats are bad mmmm'kay?

FWIW, the performance of the game and loading times have both been amazing tonight. It would be great if I could switch weapons and use the in-game browser though. I like those features.

Been fine for me using boost mode on my Pro (with an internal SSD) over the last few days, once you're used to speeds like this it would be difficult to go back! Don't worry, it's highly likely that it's just Rockstars servers being shit again.

Update: had the same issue in single player. Quitting and then relaunching GTA didn't resolve it. Then with the weapon wheel up I started messing around on the trackpad and suddenly the issue resolved itself. I'm wondering if maybe my controller is the problem, with weird trackpad issues causing the weapon wheel and browser lockout.

The save issues were still coming and going, but at least I know that neither my new SSD or Boost mode are to blame, so I'm feeling much happier

Did a test with friends tonight, thought this might interest some of you. They were both on regular PS4s loading off the standard internal drive (with identical results). I was on a Pro using Boost mode loading GTA V off an external 525GB SSD.

Time to load into the same online lobby, starting from the XMB:

• Regular PS4 off standard internal HDD: 2m52s
• PS4 Pro (Boost mode) off external SSD: 1m43s

The route I take on the bike in that video isn't the best (I got distracted), but you can see we go from the bike checkpoint to getaway with no loss of money. We had already lost money at the checkpoint because the random we were doing it with managed to beach the dinghy right at the end on our first attempt (*sigh*). That's why I spun the chopper 180 degrees at the last minute while landing in the video (so that random wouldn't be able to get to the dinghy first).

No worries. There used to be a spreadsheet, but it's blank now (or was when I checked). Eventually I ran out of patience and just made my own lists from the damn videos lol. I think the next category he does will probably be muscle, but bikes, Supercars, and sports cars are the most interesting ones anyway, so it's nice to have them all listed together.

You can go straight to the boat, but you'll have cops shooting at you while you're in the dinghy and will lose money. If you just quickly RPG those cops at the tunnel entrance and hit those checkpoints, then you won't have anyone hassling you at the end (as you can see).

so rumor has it big game altering additions to gta online are coming to an end. the current team has been split up for other duties and a skeleton crew is available for upkeep and small updates. i don't know how i would feel if online stops getting gameplay updates, but i do know its come a long way since the start of it all so i'm grateful for that. i'm actually hopeful we'll get las venturas and san fierro as paid add-ons somewhere down the line. even the similarly rumored gta online world that would include liberty city and north yankton is exciting. so many future opportunities.

Sounds like this may be mostly true. Been no mentions of any new content coming, and each weekend it seems to be a new focus on some double XP for some mode, or maybe a few sales.

I don't like them nearly as much. Some of the designs are novel, but it feels like too many are about your car's top speed. My good PS4 controller died when I was playing yesterday and I had to switch to one with a busted L2 that sticks when you press it. I did one of the races and I never even had to touch the brake.

STUNT RACE EVENT 2017

Each set of Races will play to the super powers of its respective vehicle so expect to launch across massive gaps at rocket-fueled speed in Rocket Voltic Races, seamlessly shred through land and sea in the Blazer Aqua, and free-fall into vehicular base jump style Races with the Ruiner 2000.
Creators will also get the chance to craft their own Races for these vehicles, so expect loads of insane Voltic, Ruiner and Blazer mayhem from the community this spring.

The wide range of Adversary Modes continue to be among the most played game types in GTA Online with more to come throughout the Spring including a gallows humor take on dodgeball we call Resurrection, and a nostalgic homage to the 2D GTA era with some explosive twists called Top Down – plus more to be revealed.

i'm no expert racer so these top line cars all feel about the same to me. i'm not trying to shave extra seconds off here or there, so that said, yeah get it, for the collection.

Yeah I already have all of the race vehicles I want, now it's just about collecting cars because they're pretty

I'm at the point where I own every Pegasus vehicle, special vehicle, property, business, etc. that's even half good, so I'm just looking to finish filling up my office garages. Some of the cars I still have my eye on:

ETR1
Itali GTB Custom
FMJ

That's pretty much it. Now I just have to weigh buying those against saving for the Militia DLC or upcoming cars.
