Slamvan! Oh yeah.

I wonder how the race cars will work, I love my Massacro now but will replace with a race car version if it's just a livery change and it's still just in the "sports" car class.

Homing launcher will upset the free-roam jet fans.

And prox mines... these could be useful for missions as well as a lot of fun (and a PITA as well!) in free roam.

Looks like a fun weekend is coming!

EDIT - And I just read 3 properties, thank you R*, thank you! I was just trying to work out what to sell to fit in new vehicles and now I don't need to. Excellent!

EDIT 2 - Called "Festive Update", 1.24GB download (on PS4).

Damn, I bought the monster truck thinking I could actually put it in my garage and use it in missions and stuff. It's a pretty awesome car but I might have kept the $500K if I wasn't being so stupid.

Four new vehicles have been added to Southern San Andreas Super Autos:

Vapid Slamvan
Dinka Jester (Racecar Livery)
Dewbauchee Massacro (Racecar Livery)
To obtain these vehicles in Story Mode:
PS3 / Xbox 360: These vehicles can be obtained from the Special Vehicle List when in a player-owned garage.
PS4 / Xbox One: These vehicles can be purchased online from San Andreas Super Autos.
Two new weapons have been added to Ammu-Nation in GTA Online (Not supported in the Shooting Range):
Homing Launcher (‘Fire and Forget’)
Proximity Mine
To obtain these weapons in Story Mode:
PS3 / Xbox 360: Weapons are deposited direct to the character’s weapon wheel with a full clip of ammo.
PS4 / Xbox One: Weapons will unlock and be available for purchase from Ammu-Nation after passing certain missions in Story Mode.
30 new tattoos have been added to all Tattoo Parlours in GTA Online.
Five new Kit items have been added in GTA Online:
Black Combat Chute Bag
Charcoal Combat Chute Bag
Forest Combat Chute Bag
Gray Combat Chute Bag
Tan Combat Chute Bag
Gifts

Players who log in on either the 24th December, 31st December, or the 1st January will be gifted a Firework Launcher with five rounds. The launcher will be permanently added to the player’s inventory. Players who already own the launcher will receive 5 rounds when logging in on each of the above days.
The Christmas Day Gift will be available only to players who log in to play GTA Online on 25th Please note that this is only available from the Christmas Day Gift and cannot be purchased.
Second Chance Event Items

Players who missed out on getting T-Shirts and Beer Hats in Events this year will be given a second chance to try and get them, as well as a few new items with a new special crate dropping each day over the holiday period. There will be one exclusive item in each crate per day – once you collect a crate, you will not have to collect another until the next day.
Festive Period (Time-limited content)

Christmas Tree added to Legion Square.
Christmas Trees added to all Apartments.
Please note that the weather option will be removed from Job lobbies during Snowy Weather.
Snowballs added whilst Snowy weather is active. These can be gathered and stored by pressing D-pad Left when a player is unarmed. Nine Snowballs can be stored at a time and will melt and disappear when swapping sessions or starting Jobs.
The Firework Launcher has been added back to Ammu-Nation for the festive season. This item will be available to purchase from the 24th December until the 5th Fireworks will now be more festive than previous fireworks.
90+ new Festive Surprise themed items of clothing have been added for male and female characters to all clothes stores. All of last year’s Holiday Gifts clothing will also be available during the Festive Surprise. All time-limited clothing added for the Festive Surprise period is free to purchase.
Five new Festive Surprise themed masks have been added to Vespucci Movie Masks for male and female characters:

Gingerbread Man
Penguin
Generic / Miscellaneous fixes – Story Mode – PS4 / Xbox One

Fixed an issue where trees were not responding to wind and weather
Fixed an issue where one of the Peyote plants is resetting after being picked up.

Fixed an issue where Michael’s drinking animation could be seen occurring incorrectly if he answered his phone mid-drink.

Aww. But I usually am using the jet just to have fun buzzing people (not blowing them up) with and the copters for getting to crates or robbing stores.

I'm kinda upset about this cause now people will shoot me flying around cause they can. Bad enough when there was a laser in the game when I had a plane or copter, now everyone on the ground is going to be shooting at me.

All the update stuff looks great. Seriously great. I can't believe we can own THREE properties...I will definitely own multiple Comet's now, just with color variations...ALl the other add ons look killer too.

I was starting on creating some content last night, and planned on doing that more today...but not anymore!! Stupid me too, last night I begin a new tradition of turning my PS4 and everything else off at night, to conserve what little I can. Figures that a good sized patch will be released today..

I will, once I get them!! I have been holding off on buying anything, for fear that as soon as I drop all my monies, another update will come out...but then again this did JUST drop....

I have 3.2 mil burning a hole in my pocket...

I can't be off work soon enough :( only 6 hours to goo ffffffffffuuuuuuuu..

Ugh, I know. I was jack knifing through downtown in a Titan low and slow. I can only imagine if even one person had a homing rocket. toast.

Can't try the update yet, but do homing rockets essentially act just like the jets/military rockets? If so that's great, because they are pretty easy to dodge if you click the camera backwards and just fly out of the way.

Feel bad for the guys who want to just fly in the big bulky jets though ;/

I am going to have to take my PS4 with me when I go out of town for a few days for Christmas. I want to experience snow, since I missed out last year. I also will be for sure rocking Christmas PJ's from now until then. Loved firing up the game today and seeing the christmas tree in my apartment right before I exited. Rockstar has done a fucking fantastic job with the constant new content for this game.

And the new control settings definitely smoothed things out for me in FPS (after I've spent 30+ hours playing in that mode hah).

EDIT: Also forgot to add that I never got my returning player bonus', which I though was weird (Put around 45 hours in to the game on PS4). I have had a Social Club account since before GTAV came out last gen. First time I loaded the game up after this update I got the text on Franklin's phone about it. So that's an added bonus. Need dat Duke O'Death.

Nope! R* seems to be slowly unrolling out ALLLL the stops for Online from last gen. I have seen a few crate drops here and there on PS4 version. Occasionally, you'll see a message for a SUPER SPECIAL Crate Drop...those have the good rare clothing items in it. Usually you will know when they are coming. Also, the "flare" smoke will be gold, instead of green, at the landing location.

While I am saddened we can't fly like we used to...there is a slight bit of hope..Passive mode! Let them waste expensive ammo all day long.

Why's that? Don't let the homing missiles deter you! Passive that snit up, or practice dodging, either way is bound to be a little fun... Course, I could be totally wrong, and its something totally unrelated.

I applied as "Humpski" not sure if I got in or not. Can you be in more than one crew at a time? I'm already in one, so do I have to leave it before I can get in the GAF crew?

Hi guys! Just purchased GTA 5 on PS4 and my friend waypoetic has been telling me to get on Gaf and join the fun times ever since. I'm currently on a pretty much non existent level but I guess those things tend to work themselves out in due time!
